"Best Vacation Ever!"
This was one of the best, if not the best, vacation experience I have ever had. I have traveled the world and this was by far the best hotel/resort I’ve stayed with the best customer-service I have ever received. Everyone who works at the resort is extremely respectful and accommodating. It is an all-inclusive resort (adults-only), which is great because you have nothing to worry about: food and drinks have already been paid for. During the day, they offer many on-site activities and classes (exercise classes, guacamole making class, cocktail tastings, etc.) and every night there is a show in the lobby. One night, they had local vendors set up a market so the hotel guests could shop. You don’t have to leave the property if you don’t want to. However, if you do want to, the area this hotel in is very safe and you can walk to other restaurants, shops and bars if you choose. The hotel does not include excursions in the package, but they have an on-site travel agency that you can coordinate excursions with. My family and I took a day trip out to Chichen Itza, which was wonderful and I highly recommend it. All the rooms at the hotel have an ocean front view with a porch that includes a hammock. It was nice to go back and watch the sun set while on the hammock. My family and I were there over the Thanksgiving holiday and were told that the hotel was at 90% occupancy. You would have no idea it was that full. We never had to wait in line at the restaurants, had no issues getting a cabana every day, and the pool and beach were not crowded. The food was delicious and the service was great. We never waited more than 15 minutes for our food and as soon as your drink was half empty they brought you a new one. Our favorite restaurant is Pelicanos, which is overlooks the ocean and the pool. They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Like I said before, this is best hotel I have stayed at and HIGHLY recommend it as the place to stay.
"4 nights at a paradise"
We stayed in November for 4 nights. This was the best resort we ever stayed till date. Room: All rooms are Ocean view, so don't pay for upgrades unnecessarily. Relaxing on a hammock in the balcony with cool breeze and ocean view adds a topping on the room. All rooms are equipped with Jacuzzi and they are suite category rooms. Hotel specialities: One of the perks of staying at this hotel are activities which run round the clock .. for eg - Guacamole class, biking, aqua aerobics, cocktail making(Thanks Veronica/Felipe), pilates/ yoga (Martha was a great instructor), blackjack classes, you name it they have it :). Also, they have a show(aerial/mexican) every day at 9pm (make sure you align you dinner reservations accordingly and grab good seats). On Tuesday they have a very special Foam party which we loved it. There have a 24 hr lounge with food which will never keep you hungry. Also they have pool, tennis, chess, cards around the lounge which you can play with your loved ones :) Dining/Drinks: Food was not the best I food you could eat. But it was above average. We liked the food at Pelicanos, Spice/Asiana/Maria were good. What stands out is the service. Ask for Sergio at Asiana, he is very accommodating. Since we are a big dumplings fan, we requested him and he agreed to make Veg/Chicken dumplings out of menu on a different day. Very thanks to Chef Alex at Asiana, those were awesome. Don't forget to make reservation at Asiana with live food it's a good experience to enjoy. My favorite drink was Jelisco by Felipe (don't forget to try it). Not to forget the lobby bar and good evening live music. I think the best bar tenders are at lobby bar they know what they are doing. So, if you want to experiment a cocktail, flameshot or an exotic liquor you should request here. We enjoyed flame shot, Jagerbomb, Irish cream whiskey and learnt cocktail making here. Pool: Pool was clean and always full of people. We read that cabanas are hard to find, but you don't have to wake up at 7 am to get it. It was easy for us to find one. Just grab an empty one or the one with towels and no personal items. People at the pool were very friendly. We enjoyed the Aqua aerobics at the pool it was fun to meet people from other countries. Tip server well for drinks at Cabana also there is a swim up bar around the pool. The property is like a palace and service is awesome. Totally worth the money. Cons: One think that we were disappointed was with the Housekeeping team. As we were there for the special occasion, we requested couple of time for room decoration. Which they kept forgetting until I had to call up and shout at them. Also, one day they did not clean up the room until 1 pm which is not expected. They have lot of improvement here. Tip: Visit Hyatt Zira if you get a chance. They allow reservation to French restaurant there. Worth a shot.
"Wow this is the place for us! "
We love the Hyatt Zilaria it really provides the perfect mix of sun and fun to recharge and relax. All rooms face the ocean. Coffee house is great. Entertainment is spectacular. We had hotel pick up at the airport and it was perfect. Every meal was delicious. The band at night was really fun too. If you are searching for fun and relaxation choose Zilaria you will not be disappointed. Just booked our next visit.
"Pre Christmas trip to Cancun"
I always enjoy going back to Hyatt Zilara in Cancun. The ocean view rooms and the happy smiles from energetic staff are just what I need before a long Canadian winter. The Hotel itself is showing some signs of age, but this Canuck Is already looking forward to the next visit. Shout outs to Frankie, Guadalupe, Elias, Pedro, and Catolina. You guys made me and Mama HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY !! I cant believe I gained 5 pounds.
"Didn't want to leave!"
Everything about the Hyatt Zilara is amazing, even from the first moment you arrive you are treated like royalty. The employees here go above and beyond to ensure all guests are having a good time, these are some of the best people I have ever met and they're very hard working so make sure to bring money for tips. Just to throw a few names out.. Eloise was amazing. On Tuesday at the foam pool party she remembered what my boyfriend and I had been drinking and kept our drinks coming without us even asking, we never had an empty drink thanks to her attentiveness. Also, Kevin and Cesar at the lobby bar were so fun to talk too, we enjoyed drinks after dinner at the lobby bar and chatting with them because they were so outgoing and funny. Felipe at the swim up bar and Guadalupe were also super attentive, honestly the whole staff here is excellent and so friendly, after spending a week here then leaving to return home it was sad to say goodbye to some of our favorite staff members. The food here is amazing! We never had a had bad meal all week. Asiana (the hibachi dinner) was delicious and entertaining, although you need reservations. Pelicanos had the BEST fish tacos and coconut shrimp I've ever had. Maria Maria for dinner was delish, we ended up there 3 times for dinner because it was so good. Chefs plat was also good, just make sure to pick good night because the menu is always changing. We did spice breakfast buffet every morning and there were so many options! It was all excellent. We also really enjoyed the coffee bar, there were so many different drinks you could get and other snacks. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised with how great the food was! I was surprised at how awesome the gym was too, I went a few mornings pretty early to fit in a workout and all the equipment is new. There is also a juice bar outside the gym which was a nice touch, after my workout I would have a green juice and I felt refreshed for the day. We are already planning our next trip back to the Hyatt Zilara because it was overall an amazing, relaxing, and super fun vacation. The only negative I have is that the AC in the room was pretty weak, at night we were often hot and stuffy no matter how low we set the temp in the room. Also, the pillows aren't the best and I wish I had brought my own. But those are very minor complaints and the overall excellent experience outweighs this! Also tip-if you can splurge for the swim up suite! We did and no not regret it, easy access to the pools and beach!
