"Amazing Hotel stay! "
Hands down, one of the best hotels we ever stayed at. The people are so cheerful and helpful that you know there are still kind people on the planet! :) Room (with pool access) is absolutely amazing and so is the beach (2-3 mins walk). We had a good breakfast and awesome lunch. I tried the detox juice option bracing myself for a bad tasting one (as all detox juices are), but surprisingly it was really good. I could taste that it was completely authentic and healthy with no added sugar. I definitely recommend this amazing hotel to anyone who is looking for a place with top notch facilities to relax and rewind. Surely during our next trip to Phuket, we will be staying here.
The hotel was beautiful, the service is excellent, they also have shuttles morning and after noon to Nai yaing, about ten minutes, the food is excellent, I would go back again if I could, and you can walk from the hotel to Nai yaing from the beach about ten minutes
"Nice hotel with big pool"
Visiting Phuket for a 2-night weekend stay at this new hotel, the Phuket Marriott resort is a good choice for those who do not wish to leave the hotel and look for a place to relax and enjoy doing nothing - perfect for spending time with yourself. The hotel is located about 10-15 minutes away from the airport. I booked the hotel limousine and found it is convenient with a ride-in-style on luxurious Mercedes. The airport rep greets me from the arrival gate and escorts me to the limousine. I learnt that the hotel has recently been rebranded, renovated and refurbished - in my opinion, they did a very good job. Surrounded by the lush garden, forest, coconut tree and hill, I stayed at the villa with a private plunge pool, garden and direct access to the beach. Room: Spacious bedroom and bathroom with huge bath tub, cozy indoor living area, outdoor living and dining area, working desk, mini bar and free wifi. Pool: Nice big pool with kid's zone. Spa: Did not experience the service but did visit the spa reception, there are some interesting spa promotion with standard hotel price that you can't compare to those cheap local spa outside. Restaurants and bars: Great variety of buffet breakfast, nice seafood restaurant near the beach with friendly staff, relaxing ambience at the beach bar. Service: I do not like the service at the lobby lounge as the bartender shows some negative attitude when commenting that his cocktail is too sweet. Restaurant staff and front desk team are very helpful. Beach: It's a public beach but not that crowded. Overall experience, it is a good and relaxing stay.
I have just returned home from staying here and truly enjoyed my stay. The interior design has a wow factor which made for a welcoming arrival. The staff was extremely friendly, infact I want to point out Qwaan in reception and Farah in the Big Fish restaurant who were both amazing. We were welcomed with a welcome drink which was so amazing that we kept ordering it throughout our stay. I felt there were not many activities in the hotel. Guests that would expect a resort style hotel might be slightly dissapointed as this is more upscale luxurious and serene. For us however, it was perfect as we had booked this as a base as we were out most of the day every day. For guests who wish to enjoy the beach, I urge them to lookup the beach specifics first, as the water is very far away during low tide. Make sure when travelling, you make yourself aware about the tidal times and see whether they suit you. Maybe some things to note that we experienced and could be improved upon: - We booked on Hotels.com and were dissapointed to read that many items listed on the descritpion which helped us make our choice, turned out to be false. ie. Free Wifi: On arrival, when logging on to the wifi, the page asks you to pay. When informing reception, they suggested us to sign up for their loyalty program which gives you free wifi. This seemed to me like a way to reach their sign up quota whilst I was in fact already promised Free Wifi by the third party site on which I booked. - Secondly, on booking, our confirmation stated free bottled water, Free Tea and Coffee facilities AND a minibar with some free items. This made me belive soft drinks would be included. However, a full price list was accompanied with the minibar and when querying with reception, we were told the free items relate to the tea and coffee. From a guest point of view, clearly not, as this was listed seperately. When I continued to challenge this on the first day, reception asked me to email them the confirmation I had. They informed me they would check and let me know the next morning by way of written message in the room. The second day, no message was left by 10pm in the room, so we queried at reception again. Reception was unaware of this and the colleague from the previous day was not available. They said again they would check and let me know on the third day. (Bear in mind we only stayed 4 days). On the third day, a message was left in the evening saying what they said before, however as a gesture of goodwill they would allow one soft drink per person per day. When we checked out, we found there was still a minibar charge on the bill which we had to challenge to have to have removed.
"Lovely stay in Phuket"
Top notch service, lovely property, good food. Wonderful hotel in peaceful part of the Phuket island. Wonderful facilities including great (yet very expensive) spa. At the time of the visit in November 2016 there was risk of "Portuguese Man o War", causing a shut down of the beach. However the pool area was good enough for me! Beach restaurant is also very nice! As Marriott Gold level they gave a very nice suite upgrade, that room was huge.
