"The best stay ever"
I stayed at imperial palace suite for a day. I got married at this hotel in December and the hotel provided us with a free ticket :). It was our first time staying, and the food and services were very nice. The room temperature was perfect and the suite room was cozy. There were two happy our services for tea and drinks in the afternoon. We had a blast. Thank you.
"Awesome staff, beautiful room"
The staff at the Imperial Palace is first rate. They are courteous, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the area and the city. The room was very comfortable, and was well stocked with amenities. If you like a firm bed...you are in luck. I slept very well, even with the typical jet lag accompanying a trans-Pacific flight. The breakfast was a good mix of cultures, and the chef makes a perfect over-medium egg. I highly recommend this property.
"Visit to korea- 03 mar at imperial palace"
Overall, the stay was good; always a great breakfast which is one of the main reasons to stay here. In the summer the problem can be the rooms are too hot, as the A/C is controlled centrally vs in each room- this part is unacceptable for the cost of this hotel. They try to put noisy fans in the room or open the window, which is also noisy-this is unacceptable; this is what they do in CHEAP hotels, not expensive ones; just get the A/C control back to each room. I may NOT stay here in the summer months due to this issue, if not fixed. Rooms are clean. Good point was the Korean company mistakenly booked the room with twin beds, but was upgraded to double bed.
"Very satisfied. Strongly recommend it."
We stayed at this hotel for 6 days or so (this hotel was our base hotel while we were travelling across Korea - Sorak Mountain/Jeju and getting treatment at the oriental hospital nearby) As a Gangnam-born Korean living abroad, I was a bit skeptical about this hotel as there are a bigger - arguably better hotels, but decided to stay here only because it was the closest hotel to Ja Seng Oriental Hospital which is famous for Disc treatment for which we were flying from UK. I have to say we were totally satisfied. During our stay, we also stayed at Shilla Jeju and at Sheraton D cube Seoul during the weekend when we dont have a treatment. But Imperial Palace has beaten all others. Really polite and supportive staffs tried to meet our demanding requests without any negativity -- yes, I am a quite spoiled traveler. The location is quite convenient as there is a tube station just few minutes away. Room was functional and clean. The club lounge was so thoughtfully managed. so I would recommend to book a club room. This is one of hotels with better club snacks and beverage. It is a bit traditional English feel, which is kind of weird given that I am a Korean coming from UK. I would appreciate a truly luxury Korean style hotel when I travel with Europeans. Nevertheless, I cannot find the fault.
"Nice hotel, excellent service"
Participated in a 2 day's international conference here. This is a five star hotel with luxurious European antique-themed decoration. A little dated, but is maintained well. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and delicious. Staff are friendly and helpful. Service is great. The location is good , just 5 minutes' walk to the MRT station, Hakdong..
