"Super hotel "
The rooms are really cute and the bathroom so big and beautiful, the amenities has an incredible smell and the bed are so comfortable. We think breakfast and dinners at restaurante are quite expensive , but overall we think is a very good service and place to stay
"Ok but don't expect too much..."
We had a good time, thanks to the staff as they were very welcoming and friendly. BUT For more than 100$ a night you get: Rooms which are not clean and lack a lot of maintenance. Clogged drainage, the shower not working properly, you put your stuff somewhere and it's dirty afterwards, paint is coming off the walls, chairs in the garden broken, the door to the room not opening and closing properly. The pool doesn't really invite to stay longer and the French chef appears like an arrogant ***. Thanks again to the staff which made us enjoying our time. But if we would come again' NO - not for this price... Even the drinking water is charged for, where in modern times it's complimentary in most hotels esp in Asia. At least they should have a water dispenser for free use to avoid plastic but... It seems the owner just tries to make as much money as possible, is relying on his restaurant which is really good but has forgotten that people want to feel comfortable staying in his place. Conclusion: You can find better places for less money on the island.
"Great Quiet Location, Best Food on the island"
Great quiet location right on the beach that is good for watching the sunset. Big clean rooms with great A/C. The Chef at the restaurant is OUTSTANDING...killer mix of seafood, produce etc. Great drinks as well. The location is a not too far from the ferry however if you have bags you'll need a lift to the hotel.
"Meet our Needs."
We stayed at this Hotel because our original booking at Tigerlillys was cancelled due to renovations. We were booking into Indiana by Tigerlillys so it was not our choice of hotel. It was very nice and the staff were friendly but it would not have been my choice of hotel. I did not like the privacy of the villa style accommodation as I was on my own most days while my husband was away diving. The pool was very quiet and was occupied most days by a couple of free divers practicing. The food was good, it was very clean and I would have no complaints at all other than it was not the hotel of my choosing. I also booked Tigerlillys as it had a no children policy and we had a crying baby near our room most of our stay. Hopefully we will get to stay at our chosen hotel next year. Thanks for having us.
"PERFECT FOR RESTING"
We felt there was a lack of soul in this hotel. It is not well managed and the people working there seem bored. The clientele is discreet and mostly made of couples. There was a mic mac with our reservation and we were upgraded to the double room villa which was great though too big for two. We enjoyed its private pool a lot and would come back. The French chef is very nice but cares more about surfing than cooking : it was an ok experience but not so great and expensive as he has a great experience with stared chefs in France and as it is the only French restaurant on the island. Better to eat balinese food in a small restaurant. Don't forget to rent a scooter if you want to discover some of the damaged beauties of the island.
