"This is just not a good hotel, don't stay here"
I am staying here for two nights on business. Last night the room was boiling, a permanent 23.6 c. I was awake most of the night as the room was so hot. I went to call reception but couldn't because the phone wasn't working. I went to reception in the morning and asked that someone come and look at the heating, no one turned up. I went back down again (because the phone wasn't working) and eventually someone came. They said the room couldn't go below 23.6. They said I could open the window a little but as soon as I did, I could no longer work as there was so much noise. They also said the phones are just not working so that's it. No fix any time soon. I asked for the wifi code on the second day but got told I had to pay more. It is all nonsense. The hotel is overpriced, the food menu is limited and very average once served. The staff try hard but honestly, do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else.
"Stay in Innside Munich Melia"
Free wifi limited to 100MB which is appalling. For a business traveller, it is a necessity and guest should not be charge for it. Another -ve is the location, no amenities nor interesting around. Other than that, a decent hotel with good service and comfy room.
"Too Modern to be comfortable, Too slow to usable"
This is a new, hyper modern in design hotel that largely will serve business users. Rooms consist of Glass everwhere, or white walls. Layout is similar to the Aloft designs, but missing the practicle things that Aloft gets right. There is a very small desk, and an even smaller desk chair in the room. While I'm sure there are "designer" they are not places you can or will want to use to get work done . But that's OK, because if you try to use their included WiFi, you wont be getting any work done anyway. The included internet is capped at 100 Megs per 24 hrs, at 500kps, though I never got anywhere near that. As a busniess hotel, what are they thinking' You can purchase better internet, which I had to, so I guess its their bait and swtich offering. As I said, rooms are new, with clean, minimalist design of glass or white. My room had a solid glass exterior wall. Unfortunately, it faced the major roadway next to the hotel and was quite loud, and only had blinds, no black out curtain. once the sun was up, it was quite bright in the room, If you just arrived and are hoping to get some late sleep after a long nights flight from the state, make sure you keep your eye shades. Staff was efficient and professional. If you not on busiess for one of the close by office buildings, threre really is nothing close by in the neighborhood to suggest you would want to stay here, and its not convient to public transport. And if you are here for business, look at some of the other options, ( and there are new being built currently). This could be a great business hotel, ( provide business quality internet, a usuable desk and chair, black out curtains)
"Modern Hotel with poor Internet connection"
The hotel is very modern (though not stylish). The room is mid-sized and pretty clean - although the room service seemed to be in a hurry rushing through the room. The TV is ok, although the batteries of the remote control died and nobody cared about replacing them... There is a free internet option, but it is only for one device and really slow. No way working with this! Even reading emails was a pain... not acceptable for a >200€ room rate (there was some fair at this time, so prices should be much lower during other times) Public transport is rather far away (compared to other places in Munich), so better come with car or taxi. Subway is a 10-minute walk.
"Nice hotel, bad internet"
Fine rooms but being In the middle of a business area this hotel provides slow and limited internet. 100 MB / day at 500 KBPS. There are some paid plans but being a business hotel, the less it can provide is FAST and FREE internet so that the client can attend their business.
