"Excellent facilities and location"
We usually look to based ourselves in Schwabing when in Munich, and the INNSIDE was a logical choice. For some, the ten-minute walk from the U-Bahn station at Nordfriedhof may be a bit of a chore, but the path was quiet making the short journey enjoyable - though visitors should make sure to exit for the Orthodox Church to avoid having to cross the busy road. The reception was quick and efficient, and the room was excellent. The queen-sized bed was very comfortable with two large duvets and a good supply of pillows (at many hotels we have to ask for additional pillows), and the convenient panels to adjust the room temperature was a nice touch. We had a room on the sixth floor, and although the main road was immediately outside, the windows kept out most of the noise - though this could potentially be a problem lower down the building. The view of the park in the distance out of the large window was also pretty nice. Perhaps the highlight however was a light and airy bathroom with the excellent shower, and the very nice bonus of the free minibar which contained water and soft drinks that were replenished each day when the room was cleaned. Free WiFi for multiple devices would have been a nice addition, but as we were out and about for most of the time it was not a massive downside. Were we on business however, this option would have been of benefit. Overall, I would certainly be looking at staying at the INNSIDE again when I am next in the city.
"OK Hotel. Lousy soundproofing"
Hotel itself is fine. Modern, clean, slightly boutique feel, although somewhat overdone with the ridiculous high-security electronic blinds on the windows and the cunningly hidden wardrobe (behind the entry door if you're confused). But honestly, I had the worst night's sleep I ever had in a hotel. Perhaps it was just the room location but all I could hear, all night, was traffic on the passing motorway a a volume that suggested the window was open - which it wasn't. I simply cannot believe how bad the soundproofing on the room was. Appalling. I'm told the inside-facing rooms are better, but you apparently have to pay a premium. So if you like sleep, bring ear plugs or book a different hotel.
"One night stop in Munich"
Very nice hotel, modern decor, bright and spacious rooms. Very close to metro station not far from city center. The breakfast Is complete even there no eggs/omelette cooking station, good choice of sweet and salted options.
"A business hotel'"
My stay at the Innside Munich was a big disappointment. Starting with the positives, the hotel is located in a business area, plenty of companies around it, so it was very convenient as I was there for business. Regarding items where they should improve (and that will mean that next time I'll chose the Novotel rather than the Innside) are that there's no free internet. They only offer 100Mb for 1 device per day (at a very slow speed). This doesn't make any sense for people that are staying there for business. I have the Gold Melia Rewards status, and they said that they couldn't give me any additional internet device... Another downside was the efficiency at the check out. As it is a Business hotel, everyone wanted to check out at the same time on Friday so big queues were created. A fast-check out option/kiosk should be set Final thing, beside having the German blanket approach (you had to fold it under the mattress yourself) and the blanket was not covering the whole bed, mattresses where not great/new. Lots of noise and were bending towards the middle.
"A super modern hotel"
A super modern hotel, close to the Nordfriedhof underground station(10 minutes walking). From this subway station you are in about 15 minutes at the Marienplatz (center Munich) The room was quite big and clean. The breakfast is hard to beat-Excellent.The staff was very nice and helpful. We will definitely be back
