""part time" hotel"
I have usually had good experiences with Innside Melia hotels but with this one management got it all wrong. We arrived on a Friday evening to be told that the (on their website very predominantly advertised) restaurant was closed because their weren't enough guests in the hotel. Bar menu' Negative - kitchen closed... The bar also closed early (23:00) that evening because - you've guessed it - not enough guests in the opinion of the management. This is all wrong ! You are either a hotel and therefore; offer the full range of services no matter how occupied the hotel is or you are something else and offer your services as and when you "feel" like it. At the very least the hotel website should state that restaurant and bar opening days/hours can vary. Having an early-ish flight the next (Saturday) morning we checked with staff when breakfast would be served at 08:00 on a Saturday. Pity - too late for us and we decided to have breakfast at Dusseldorf airport. We left the hotel around 07:00 and to our great disappointment serving breakfast was in full swing already then. Was this a matter of management having decided based on the "feeling of the day" or just a misinformed member of staff' Either way; not good ! Once this hotel has decided whether it wants to be a B&B or a real hotel I may be back.
"Excellent Location and Good Value"
For a visit to Dusseldorf the Innside is in an great location. It offer excellent service at a reasonable rate. The rooms are comfortable. There were issues with WIFI in the rooms. The bar is popular and the bar is well stocked and popular.
"Conveniently located hotel, but bathroom has no door"
The hotel is modern & clean and is located in an estate of several offices & fashion showrooms. It's also really close to the Kaufland supermarket which is quite convenient if you need to get necessities & snacks. The room also comes with free soda & juice in the mini-bar which is a plus. The only downside was the bathroom has no door at all. It's a bit awkward if you are sharing the room since it's only separated by a thin opaque glass "wall" on one side. Also the room has no kettle, so it was mild inconvenience since it was -2 degrees outside and I was coming down with a cold. Maybe it was in the room and I couldn't find it - but I've stayed at the other Melia in Dusseldorf before and I had to call the reception for one, which took 30-45min to receive, so I didn't bother this time since it was already pretty late at night.
"Poor quality room, terrible wifi"
The room was very basic with only the essentials provided. Bar and restaurant were pleasant. Awful connectivity and wifi in rooms - unable to work due to this. The location was good - close to the airport. Would not stay here again out of choice.
"Düsseldorf for business"
comfy hotel, very nice rooms, very clean and tidy, good breakfast, city center reachable by tram in 10-15 min. we were there for a conference at the hotel. The food was good and coffe beraks were good. I would recommend it both for business trips or tourism.
