"Best in aqaba"
Wooww..alot to say..this place is simply eye popping..there is everything in this hotel, amazing view of red sea, beach bar, pools, restaurants, bar inside the hotel. Staff here are very friendly and has a warmth in servicing the customers. Im vegetarian and we opted for breakfast and dinner in the hotel itself, they did everything to feed me. They made tasty vegetarian food for me everyday for breakfast and dinner. In aqaba best hotel to stay
"Best hotel in `Aqaba "
Visited aqaba for business meetings, InterContinental `Aqaba offered me the best facilities for my meeting, hotel staff were extra helpful and extremely welcoming, Ms Maricor from the Deli Cafe is extremely professional and most importantly very cheerful, thank you Maricor and thank Intercontinental `Aqaba
"Excellent property and location!"
Intercontinental has been just perfect in every way. The property in itself, location, staff, food has been marvelous. We had the beach facing room on the 4th floor and it gave some fabulous view. The beach side panoramic cafe has great lighting and an Ideal place to sit in the evening for sunset. Jacuzzi, Steam and Sauna services are good and are complimentary for the guests. The food has been really good and most importantly Mr. Ahmad Ali (Asst. Director F&B) was extremely attentive to food that were served to us as we had requested Vegetarian food. We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights (Breakfast and Dinner meals). Mr. Ali visited us during every meal and cross checked whether we were happy with the food. When in Aqaba, at stay @ Intercontinental shall delight!!
"Great view, great beach and friendly staff"
This is the best bit of beach in Aqaba. We were upgraded to a room with a great view of the sea and were able to get a late checkout. Good size room with a fab bath ... And a selection of pillows to choose from. All staff were friendly and accommodating. Perfect location for a quick walk into town. Thanks for a lovely stay, we will be back in April.
"Nice hotel with own beach - lovely pools and close to city center"
The hotel is nicely situated just next to the red sea with its own beach. We had a beautiful view from our room. Partly to the sea – and partly to the Israel part of the gulf with the afternoon sun. (It is also possible to get rooms with full sea view – or partly sea view in the other direction - and morning sun). The pool area is nice. The children’s pool was heated and nice - the other pools were unheated and thus relatively cold in February. If I shall give some critic to the pool area, then is it the terrible lounge music, which is played all day long. Hotel managers all over the world should be forced to listen to the very music they play for their guests. I’m sure, they would hate it too! (Try to ask the guests in a quick survey and you will never play this kind of music again) The staff at the hotel were all very friendly. In general, I must say that the Jordanians are some of the kindest people I have met when travelling. It is easy to walk to the city center and the restaurant area of the town from the hotel. It takes about 10 minutes. You can also take a taxi – it is inexpensive (1-2 dinar). The breakfast was above average, with many options and stations were you can get Jordanian specialties. The style in the hotel’s lobby area was a little outdated – and was lagging some coziness. I was surprised that it is still allowed to smoke in the public hotel areas. Not a big problem for me as the lobby area was big and I could just walk away. The gym was fine and I loved that it was nicely cold (often hotel gyms are much to warm)
