could not find any fault with the hotel, certainly the best Intercontinental hotel i have stayed in either in Europe or Asia!Comment of M. Paul , Netherlands the 2014-06-11
"Great place to stay"
Great place to stay, spacious rooms, elaborate breakfast buffet and dimsum lunch is a must try. Check in process can be improved. Front desk is quite friendly but found security pretty rude with the guests.
Stayed here for 1 night. found it to be lacking the little extra of other intercontinental hotels, like the IC in Bangkok.Breakfast was excellent. The rooms were nice with comfortable beds. Location is perfect. Would stay again!
The hotel in centrally located and walking distance to shopping / dining options. I didn't find the room overly warm / comfortable, when compared to other hotels in Vietnam. That is only downside that I have for this hotel. Breakfast and happy hour at the hotel are great.
The breakfast was outstanding which is rare for Asian hotel The room was spacious and the bed really comfortable The only downside was no sun at the pool We will definitely return I would also like to say the staff were very friendly
"Excellent hotel in district 1"
This is an excellent hotel in the heart of district 1. What I liked: - Excellent breakfast spread, large variety from western to local delights - Rooms are quiet, excellent soundproofing - Everyone speaks English - Bed is super comfy and the sheets have high thread counts - Rooms are spacious and good amenities - Walking distance to malls and Notre Dame What I didn't like: - Checking out was a huge headache. I booked through Booking.com and the rates included VAT. However Intercontinental wanted to charge me additional VAT. Luckily I noticed this but it was a big hassle on my part to sort this out.
