"Fabulous hotel and location"
We travelled to Boston with our 7 yr old son as my husband was running in the Boston marathon. Hotel is located in the harbour area close to the site of the Boston tea party, opposite the children's museum and close to Fanueil hall and Quincy market. We chose to stay in a club room and our room was on 12th floor the same floor as the club lounge. We had a very spacious room with 2 queen beds, which were very comfortable as were the pillows. The bathroom was also spacious with a separate bath and shower cubicle. The toiletries were of a high quality and even included a loofah mitt. Room was very clean and we received bottled water every night at turn down along with a chocolate. The club lounge offered breakfast and canapés on an early evening. Breakfast had a great range to choose from including a couple of cooked items and an abundance of continental options. They were continually replenished and was beautifully set out. Canapés on an evening also had a great choice with plenty of variety and different hot items every night. Plentiful cold drinks and teas and coffees. Staff in the club lounge were very attentive and happy to help. Charles and Pim especially. Charles was warm and welcoming and always made time to speak to us and our son, and he seemed happy in his job. He is a credit to the hotel. Pim was also welcoming and engaging with us and our son. She made him hot chocolate and since returning home asks for me to make it the way Pim did. The gym was well equipped and had a good variety of machines. You did have to go through the gym to get yo the pool though. Pool was average size for a hotel and changing rooms clean and tidy. We only used the concierge to book Duck tour tickets but they were very efficient and knowledgeable. During our stay. We had a couple of early morning runs and were offered water on our return by the concierge. All staff were very pleasant and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Boston. If we return I would book without a second thought.
"An enjoyable stay"
I recently stayed 5 nights at this property for a meeting at the Convention Center. The hotel is very nice, clean, updated and quiet. The room was quite large compared to many Boston hotels and the bed very comfortable. It was about a 15 minute walk to the Convention Center which was convenient (shuttle buses took longer). You can also walk the other direction to several Boston landmarks in 15-20 minutes. There are a number of dining choices nearby. I will definitely keep this place in mind for our next Boston trip.
Fog aside, watching the Tea Party re-enactment was great. Staff were fantastic. Enjoy the atmosphere. This hotel puts you in the heart of Boston and the heart of redevelopment. While some amenities outside are limited, those in house are great.

"Lives up to expectations"
The InterContinental Boston is a business/luxury hotel that lives up to expectations. The lobby is inviting and well appointed, as are the guest rooms. The onsite amenities are what you would expect from an InterContinental hotel. The staff are professional and welcoming.
