My husband and I stayed at the Intercontinental for 3 days. We upgraded to the Intercontinental Club which gave us access to the lounge. The drink selection and food at the lounge was excellent. The buffet at the restaurant was delicious, the staff is very professional and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay there.
"Good experience "
My husband and I were there for 3days. It was comfortable and a most enjoyable stay. Nice restaurant. Just one negative ... diagonal across the street there were some homeless ppl squatters. Quite dangerous to walk at night.
"Exclusive interior, friendly staff"
I've been here in March 2017 for 7 nights. Pros: One of the most exclusive hotels in the city, and located in the downtown, in a 4-5 km radius you can find many monuments/famous sightseeing objects/houses. The hotel itself has a very nice interior. The (standard) room I got was clean, and quite large! They have both wifi & LAN cable for internet. The room directon was to the backyard with very spectacular view to the nearby houses. Breakfast is well prepared and all is fresh. Cons: I missed the regular "european/italian" espresso, but that's valid for nearly the whole country - they do drink the long american style so that's not something I can't live without. :) There are 3 elevators, and sometimes I had to wait quite long time till it got to my floor. (maybe need better programming, whatever) Still, the magnetic card is hardly readable when you use it in the elevator - and once it was shaking very badly. All together my stay was great, and I would come back here next time as well!
I had three seperate bookings throughout April and was highly impressed with the helpful reception and concierge teams. Between stays we left our baggage for five days in total without fear of losing anything! (Yes in South America)They were informative, friendly and organised tickets to the sold out football at La Boca. There's a well equipped gym (free weights and machines) and an indoor pool. The rooms are what you'd expect from an Intercontinental and it's a short stroll from a couple of decent pubs and The city's oldest and most famous Cafe and Tango experience at Cafe Tortoni along with numerous other eateries. Ask about the lounge upgrade- $40 for breakfast and liberal pre dinner drinks and canapés. All in all a solid central BA option. Remember to Uber if you're heading out. Cheap and dead simple!
"Great property "
You always know what to expect at an Intercontinental Hotel. Buenos Aires is no different. Room was very spacious and included concierge level access. Beautiful location with easy walking access to the charm and activities this city has to offer. No doubt I will recommend and return.
