"Best in Cannes"
This is the best hotel in Cannes. The rooms and the staff are very good. The food is amazing . 5 points from me :) It has very good beach in front of and perfect view.if you have a chance take a room with sea view.
The service in this Intercontinental is great as in al the others where I've stayed before, the building is also great and with a perfect location, but I asked for a twin room hoping to get as in other locations two bigger beds instead of the ones we got, that will be my only complain as the room is big enough to get bigger beds. Apart from that a very pleasant stay.
This place is just luxurious. The service is amazing, staff are very friendly. We stayed for a quiet weekend & were blown away by the product, the rooms were nice and spacious, it's right by the sea, we had a sea view room which was just fantastic. We had lunch in the lobby bar, it was very relaxing. Would love to be back and stay here.
"Fantastic Hotel with awesome helpful staff. "
Very good Hotel, rather pricy, but you get value for your money. After all it's the French riviera. I had a fantastic room. 10 points for the cleaning staff .. Good breakfast in the morning.. Beautiful view on the Mediterranean Sea, very impressive for people who don't get around this area very often.
"Verry beautiful dining room, good breakfast, iconic house, very small room with a view to the backyard"
I stayed 4 nights in the InterContinental in Cannes. It was booked as part of a conference package. The house itself is from the outside fantastic. For me the most beautiful hotel at the Croisette and in walking distance to the exhibition halls. When I checked I was asked if I require I special address on my invoice. I told the receptionist yes and that I have written a mail with all the details and even got an e-mail confirmation. He told me the address is not in the system so I had to provide it a second time. I went then to my room 362. The room it self was clean but very small. The bathroom was clean as well but as the room out fashioned and both need some renovation. I had as well a tinny working desk. In order to plug in my PC and mobile the socket-outlet was below the desk - so not very convenient. And definitely to small to work. During my stay I had two outages on my TV. I informed the reception about them, they told me to fix it. I can't judge if they did it, I didn't watch TV long enough the other nights - so I assume the did it. The breakfast served was of very good quality. I really liked the fresh orange juice and the Nespresso coffee. And the ambiance in the breakfast room was beautiful. A really nice classic dining room. The staff at breakfast was always courteous and attentive. On the last evening I went down to the Bar for a Gin & Tonic. The service was very friendly, but I was a little bit disappointed when they told me they ran out of Hendrick's. This should not happen. The Gin served was good as well as the olives, nuts and chips. The price was definitely on the very upper end - 26 Euros. Check out was fast and friendly and the address on the invoice was the correct one. So a stay with different experiences & feelings.
