"Great Place To Stay in Los Angeles"
The InterContinental Los Angeles Century City is a fabulous hotel with excellent service. Everything went smoothly for my stay and the staff did a nice job. Especially the front desk. I could not have picked a better place to stay in L.A. My room was comfortable and quiet with luxury amenities. I had a beautiful room with a beautiful view and a very beautiful bathroom. Also, my bed was extremely comfortable with wonderful pillows. I loved my stay at this property and look forward to my next visit to this hotel.
I am a fan of the Intercontinental Hotel chain. However, I felt this location was more luxurious than others I've stayed at. Their holiday decor was gorgeous and immediately got me into the holiday spirit. The check-in desk staff was very friendly and helpful. I was given an option of newspapers in the morning to be delivered to my door. I love this detail. My room was very clean and THE VIEW, oh my was it gorgeous. Plus I had a balcony where I could sit and enjoy that view. They had a Keurig in my room, plus a fridge. The bed was very comfortable, very soft sheets and comfortable mattress. Room service in the morning was friendly and punctual. Staff was great, food was good, amenities were great and the overall feel was welcoming. Great night at this hotel.
nothing to say, perfect, a 5 stars for sure. From the Valet parking guy to the cleaning lady, they are all professionals. Attentive service. The hotel just need to update their room and terrace, fresh paint... Overall it was perfect. The view from our room from DTLA to Malibu, view on the ocean... amazing sunset...
"Very cozy and pleasant temporary home"
I stayed here for several weeks while working nearby in Century City, and just want to give a shoutout to Jenny, Desiree, and Tiffany (among others) who went out of their way to accommodate me with several special requests. Thanks very much, and I look forward to heading back soon. Remember everyone, don't forget to tip the housekeepers -- they work very hard!
"Attentive Service, but Facilities Showing Age"
This was my first stay at this InterContinental. Overall it was a positive experience, but for this level of hotel, I expected better. We had an executive suite that was the furthest possible room from the elevator which was not a big deal -- probably the longest walk you'd have in LA. The shower controls were extremely flimsy and about to fall off the wall. I guess the drought continues to affect the city as the water pressure was weak. We had a coffee and tea before going out for the evening and left our mugs on the coffee table. When they brought the rollaway bed, they moved the table and left the dirty mugs. Different department' The left over cups became a theme for our stay as the water cups (offered in the lobby by the elevators) began stacking up in the room and never disposed. I guess we're the sloppy ones for not putting them in the trashcan. Concierge was very friendly and attentive and answered our questions and assisted us with transportation. Bed was quite comfortable which is the most important factor and the room was quiet (given the distance).
