"Best in Hong Kong"
The Intercontinental Hotel is the best hotel in Hong Kong. We love Hong Kong and have stayed at the Intercontinental many times. The lobby picture-window view of Hong Kong side (Hong Kong Island) is one of the best views in the whole world. The rooms are always roomy and clean, and the service impeccable. Ask for a Harbor View room. It may cost more but the view is worth it. The restaurants in the hotel are great! There are four world-class restaurants. We like Yan Toh Heen best. It's a 2-star Michelin Chinese restaurant. Ask for Henry and Stephen, the manger and assistant manager. Tell them we sent you. They always take good care of guests. A special treat is the concierge desk. The people there are always very very helpful. Louis is the Chief Concierge and Jin, the Assistant Chief Concierge. Tiffany is good, too.
"Perfect location, fantastic views"
There is no better hotel to enjoy your visit in Hong Kong. Centrally located, offering unrivaled views of Victoria Harbor, next to the biggest mall of Hong Kong and next to the Star terminal. The Hotel offers excellent breakfast, very comfortable rooms and two of the best restaurants in Hong Kong, one Chinese and one Japanese. Service is of high standard with a smile. We had one week of pure enjoyment! Thanks!
"Relaxing stay at InterContinental Hong Kong/Kowloon"
Just completed a 5-night stay with my partner at this beautiful hotel facing the Victoria Harbor. Our room located in the Club section on the third floor was spacious and well appointed. In addition, it had a large terrace with two lounge chairs and direct harbor view. The bathroom was perfect including both a sunken tub, separate shower and sink with two basins. The room was on the same floor as the gym, spa and pool - very convenient. Given our gold membership in the IHG, we received an upgrade. The access to the Club facilities, we had paid for, proved a real benefit. A flawless breakfast was served in a special room facing the harbor separated from the main breakfast section. The staff in the hotel could not be more attentive and pleasant. We received very good advice on major touristic sites and restaurants. Also we had dinner at the onsite Chinese restaurant Yan Toh Heen. Service and food were perfect. Presentation of the food was also exceptional. The hotel featured a beautiful outdoor pool with beautiful green space, lounge chairs and direct view on the harbor both front and back. The hotel itself is situated at the edge of Kowloon. Access to the ferry to Central is easy. The closest MTR station is within a 5-minute walk. Highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again.
"Excellent room, location, and service!"
The Breakfast Buffet is out of this world. Definitely fuel up for your day! The room was great, had USB charging ports for easy universal charging. The room also had a "Handy phone" that you could make free international calls with, and carry around with you to use as a wifi hotspot! Made traveling and navigating the city much easier. Don't forget to have them bring up extra bottled water for your stay!
"Best club lounge ever in a great hotel"
My partner and I visited this luxury hotel twice in just over a week, the first for five nights combining a conference for me across the harbour at the Convention Centre and a holiday break, the second for a brief one night stay en route back to U.K. from Vietnam. I am a regular visitor to IHG properties and have been a guest at many Intercontinental hotels. This one is superb and has the best club lounge I've ever used. We were met at and transported back to the airport on both occasions by pre-booked car which was cool and comfortable, great organisation by the hotel. Check in was superb in the lounge and we were in our harbour view room promptly. The lounge is fantastic, great views across the lower level bar and dining room to the harbour. The staff were professional, courteous and outstandingly helpful and friendly. The cocktail and canapé service in the evening was outstanding and the breakfast first class. We dined at the 2 Michelin star Chinese Yan Toh Heen restaurant for my birthday which was very interesting, the sweet treat was Classical Chinese, I'll let you make up your mind from the image!! All in all we could not fault this fantastic experience and I have no doubt we shall return. It is pricey but you really are treated to wall to wall luxury.
