"Very Professional "
I was here in January and I had a very pleasant stay. The staff was extremely courteous and always willing to be of assistance. Even though there was sometimes a language barrier they always tried their best to make one comfortable. The breakfast buffet was great and the fresh morning juices were always refreshing. The gym was a little small to my liking but enough for you to get creative with your workouts. The pool and spa was awesome and the massage therapy was good as well. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks.
"Great hotel in city centre!"
This beautiful 5 star hotel is located in the city centre. Close to Maidan square and a lot of churches. Rooms are spacious, quiet and fully equipped. The breakfast is marvellous, including sushi! Great lobby with bar.
"A true 5 star hotel"
One of the few hotels I consider to be truly 5 star. Every aspect of this hotel deserves the rating. Well trained very observant staff, every corner of this hotel is well maintained and very clean. The style is that of a grand hotel with classical furniture design. Though centrally located the rooms are very quiet thanks to heavy doors and thick carpets as well as soundproofed windows. I couldn`t ask for more comfort.
"Excellent Hotel - Used Points - Treated like Royalty"
I live in Ukraine and my wife and I wanted to just "getaway" for a night in the city, without the kids. I used 30,000 hotel points and booked a room at the Intercontinental. There is no other way we could afford this luxurious of a hotel as missionaries! When we checked in, we were treated like royalty. I do have Platinum status with IHG Rewards Club, but it is soon to expire. Our room was upgraded, we were given complimentary bar drinks upon check in and the mini bar in our upgraded room was free. It was loaded with sodas, water and nice juices. We ordered room service for dinner. An incredible spread! I ordered the Chicken Kiev and it was delivered a little under cooked. I called and they quickly came to take it away and bring me another. They not only brought another meat, but also the full sides that came with it, which I had already eaten off the original plate. They took the meal off our bill....which we did not ask them to do. The food was INCREDIBLE!! We did not have breakfast with our reward night...so we paid for it. It was a massive buffet. This was an incredible stay and incredible service!!!
"Good luxury hotel in the center of Kiev"
The intercontinental in Kiev is a good luxury hotel, well located in the center of Kiev. I stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed quality service and a good sizable room, as you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Small details that I appreciated were the availability of a solid pillow in the room, as I am not a big fan of the really soft downy pillows most hotels tend to have. Also the 'free' mini bar is a good touch, although it could be a bit better stocked especially with more water. However, when I ordered more water it was immediately brought to the room without charge. The room and hotel itself are decorated in a somewhat old style, a bit too kitsch for my personal taste but it didn't detract from a good stay.
