"Amazing hotel location and services"
It is really a real luxury five star hotel where services are up to the highest standard. food in restaurants is amazing but a little expensive. Settings, services and location are all the best. Staff are excellent and always smiling.
"One night stay in Beirut "
We recently stayed at the Phoenicia for 1 night before heading to the mountains for our Lebanon ski trip. The hotel is very plush and exudes elegance. The room was very comfortable and large with an extremely comfortable bed. We had a partial sea view and looking over the courtyard. Decent size balcony We had drinks in the lobby and our waiter was excellent in recommending cocktails and even making up cocktails to our taste. Breakfast was so rich in variety including continental and Lebanese food. We could have spent all morning feasting. As a family we have travelled to all corners of the world staying at the best hotels, the breakfast offered must be one of the best we had. Location is very central and the concierge can arrange transport anywhere you want Definitely recommend this hotel for a Beirut city break or business travel
i stayed there with my gf for the weekend in one of their suites and i must say Phoenicia is one of the BEST 5 star hotels ive stayed in around the world. the staff is very friendly and they redefine guest service. the location is perfect, next to downtown beirut where all the shops are and Gumeyzeh and Hamra where the clubbing scene is. the rooms are spacious and amazingly furnished. for art lovers this is the place to stay . the hotel is a bit expensive but worth every penny. would stay there again without a doub
My husband and I went for a short weekend to Beirut to attend a wedding of our dear friends, since we only stayed for the weekend, it was one of the most relaxing holidays i have been on, staff were friendly and the hotel was beautiful it overlooked the sea, if your looking to get away for a short period of time its well worth it just for a quiet piece of mind.
"Perfect location and a icon of Beirut.."
Of course The Phoenicia is an icon of luxury in Beirut and for many years has hosted some of the greatest Leaders and protected them on many occasions. Today to get a feel of the hustle and bustle of the elite of Lebanon this is the place to be. Even waiting for your car or taxi you will feel like you are in a revolving door of diplomats, members of government or fashionistas. This however does not mean the hotel is not something for all. Once inside you have a stunning lobby lounge and the rooms themselves are comfortable, affording great views of the Med and Zaituny Bay. The night I was there a storm rolled in from the sea and it was a stunning light show right in front of me. The staff were great, but a little stiff to start with on arrival at reception. One of the best things for me was the shower.. I am lucky to try showers all over the world and this has to be one of the best I have ever had the pleasure to try. WOW. I personally wished the product in the bathrooms matched it a little more but I could have spent hours in the shower. Breakfast here you need to make time for. Although I was not over 'wowed' by the layout and furnishings and didn't feel the experience was quite as flash or as luxurious as Four Seasons or Kempinski, it has so much to offer you almost need at least 1hr and an empty stomach to enjoy it. Overall its a great, safe and well appointed hotel, although I have never stayed in the summer, I am sure it has a great atmosphere around the outdoor pool. I think there is still some touches that could be done to truly turn it into a 2017 'Luxury icon' but it definitely has the base to be this.
