"One lovely night"
This hotel has been around for awhile, and is just about ready for a gentle facelift. Our king size room was comfortable, and the bathroom has both a tub and a rather small shower. We would stay there again. The bellman, Chris, greeted us when we pulled up to register, and said a hearty goodbye as he put our luggage in our car.the concierge, Julie, advised us on a restaurant and we were thrilled with her choice. Good service makes good memories!!
We chose to arrive by limosine to avoid city driving and it worked out. Bloor Street is a busy road with a cycle lane so it gets tricky to pull up to the lobby entrance. They do have valet parking service if that's your thing. The checkin was quick and help to the room was no problem. Our room was on the third floor facing away from the noisy street. We were able to open our window for a bit of spring air during the dat. We had two good queen beds and plenty of space to move around. The washroom was huge with tub, shower off to a far side away from sink and toilet. Linen was fresh. TV screen was large and wifi was included. The hotel is located right across from the ROM and near the Museum Station on line 1 of the underground transit. The hotel is close to some of Toronto's chickest shopping district along Bloor street and to boutique shops along Yorkville and Cumberland. The hotel had a pool, gym and restauranr, pub facilities and all are staffed with pleasant assistants. We stayed as a large family group spread out over several rooms close by to celebrate a wedding in town over the long April weekend. Sunday morning the families came together at the restaurant for brunch before check out. Everyone was happy with the servibe from tiny tots to grandparents. We would return to this hotel and we recommend it to those not on a tight budget.
"Great Hotel and experience"
Visited for my fiances birthday..it was great they were very nice and we got upgraded to executive suite. The room was very clean quiet hotel..we had the breakfast package and it was very good. Thank you for a great time!!!
"Great location, quiet hotel, what you would expect from an Intercontinental"
Room was clean. Beds were fine -- nice to have two queens instead of two doubles. Pillows left something to be desired. Public parking lot off Bedford Road was very convenient to the hotel. Separate shower and tub was nice but shower stall was tight and I am not a big person! Small lap pool was fine because the hotel wasn't busy. Courteous staff if not overly friendly. Free WIFI in room with IHG Priority number,
"Excellent location, very pleasant staff. But...."
Great location, nice hotel, clean rooms & very pleasant staff. Room services needs to get their act together. My room's minibar was empty. I asked the reception if the mini-bar service was not part of the amenities. They apologized for the mistake & promised to rectify it. Instead of stocking the fridge whilst the room is cleaned 2 employee came with their cart to fill it while I was resting before leaving to the Theater show. On the other morning I was sleeping & there was "Do not disturb" sign at my door a room service cleaner pushed the door open and rushed to my room 8 am while I was sleeping. Then she apologized that she hasn’t seen the sign!
