"Watch you invoice at check-out!"
This is a lovely hotel, but it has happened on three occasions now that we booked a particular rate, but were overcharged at check-out. The overcharge was reimbursed after several phone calls the first two times, but after our last stay in November, management failed to honour the rate that was originally booked. So, watch your invoice when you check out. If this has happened to us more than once, it may happen to you!

Awesome hotel nice staff , clean room great beds . Quite never heard noise in hallways and we had one of the teams in the hotel .. mini fridge is full so no room if you bring anything kind of a minor thing but hey .. would gladly come back
Wow, what a great hotel. Service was so friendly and warm, room gorgeous and clean with super comfy beds. Conveniently located to shops and restaurants. I felt spoilt staying here. I hope to come back for another stay when we are in Toronto!
"Great 'hood, nice hotel but needs an update "
I stayed here for a weeding in November. I've stayed here on business for 20 years on and off. The location cast be beat. Right in the heart of Toronto's best high end shopping and right across from the very worthwhile Royal Ontario Museum. As usual the staff was accommodating and the concierge was as well. Rooms are a generous size ( I stayed in a deluxe view King) but a bit dated especially the TV system which really is quite outdated technology. Bathroom is a nice size but the counter is very small and too tight for two people. But all in all a reasonable value for the money. The gym is a problem. Very small. Not much equipment. The TV's on the equipment barely work and the work around they have created to watch them at all should be an embarrassment to Intercontinental Hotels everywhere. Breakfast room is very nice and of course expensive but thats to be expected. All in all by international A hotel standards I give it a B. But I can't resist the location which ups it to a B+. Hope they put a few bucks in soon
"Great room and service"
I was welcomed with a smile, given a room with a view onto Bloor St., with the ROM to my left, the CN Tower directly in front and the Telus Centre for Performance and Learning to my right. And, no, it wasn't noisy despite overlooking such a busy street. Bonus: the window opened at the bottom. Free wifi. But, still a $1 charge for a local phone call! Most hotels can manage well when things go smoothly, but they really show their character when something goes wrong, in my case, a problem with a sluggish toilet, which was fixed quickly and properly. All in all, a great stay.
