"Amazing hotel in an amazing location!"
Amazing hotel with great staff within a brilliant location. Could not fault this hotel at all. Our room was huge and had a balcony with an amazing view over Wenceslas square. Will definitely be back!!
Hotel is in an ideal location so very central to all attractions. Stayed 3 nights and couldn't fault it. Staff are very polite and the hotel very clean. Rooms are warm but better warm than cold. Room has AC but didn't figure out how to set. Breakfast was also good. Plenty of choice. Would recommend.
"Very Good Stay let down by staff"
Very good quality hotel, although not 5*, great location, cosy, excellent breakfast, dining and outside terrace, spacious rooms although bathroom alittle dated. Main concern was with staff, using mobile phones in dining room whilst hiding behind a pillar or shielding phone with a menu, unhelpful/miserable Reception staff (located in a rather strange Reception area, who were unable to order a simple taxi, domestic staff who were sitting on our settee when we returned to the room on their mobiles and who helped themselves to loose change/coins from a saucer I had placed them on in the room, not intended for a tip.
"Lovely Weekend in Prague"
A lovely weekend was spent in Prague.. the hotel was fabulous and the city breathtaking, even if it was -14 on one of the nights ! You can get from Prague Airport to the hotel using the metro and the station in Wenceslas square is only a stones throw from the hotel but because we were arriving late and travelling back at the same ungodly hour we decided to book an executive taxi to and from the airport which was a blessing and only £18 each way. The hotel was lovely even if it did look like a throwback at times to a communist era.. one if the weirdest things to start off with was the bedroom main door open outwards into the corridor '' Apart from that little quirkiness the hotel was a lovely place to stay with helpful staff and a belly busting breakfast included. The hotel is situated on Wenceslas square and our room with balcony overlooked it.. it is busy outside but the double glazing kept both the noise and the cold out. Prague itself is gorgeous with plenty to do.. There are lots of you tube videos on what you can do when there so have a look at them before you go. Couple of tips .. Make sure you take a travel plug - we forgot ours and it cost us £8 for a cheap version When you order a beer it will come in a big glass half beer and half froth.. don't complain that the way they do it In bars if they have snacks on the table ask for them to be removed or you will be charged for them whether you eat them or not Don't be taken in by the restaurants in the old town square .. they charge way over the top for simple food - take a small walk into the back streets and you will get just as good food for a lot less. We went for a special birthday but we would certainly go back again, maybe in the spring or summer . Loved the Jalta Hotel, Prague and everything about the Czech Republic , would recommend it to anyone 😃
Here for three nights on fourth floor in a smallish room with balcony overlooking Wenceslas Square, everything that is needed is in the room, including air conditioning. Dinner in the Como Restaurant was good value and most acceptable. The Breakfast Buffet took some time to work out where everything was laid out, but once worked out, the selection offered was comprehensive. Would we return ' Yes !
