"Best of the best"
This is without doubt one of the best options when staying in Bali. The rooms are wonderfully decorated and private, the personal pool is a bliss and the food is great. Most of all, the staff goes out of their way to take care of your every wish. We will try to return as soon as we can...
"Better then most"
Me and my fiancee had a splendid time together at this Boutique Resort. The breakfast and the spa treatment are beyond expectation and simply amazing. The beach was quite windy and during the rain we had some unpleasant findings, which actually hundreds of staff from the village and the hotels are doing their best efforts to clean the beach everyday early in the morning. On the other hand we were busy checking out all the cultural attractions, rice fields, temples and the amazing restaurants (seafood cafes and Cuca nearby and all the hundreds of places in Seminyak). Having this said the food at Jamahal is more than delicious, but we wanted to go out from time to time. Thank you for an amazing experience and we will be back.
"Wonderful concept and Top notch staff"
After our time in Seminyak, we were looking for a quiet place to just unwind and pretty much do nothing. Jamahal is an absolute treat for someone who's looking to spend some quiet time and yet get access to great food and spas around. The rooms are just amazing. They are spacious with great furniture. They've thought through every detail - even the music that's being played suits the place so much. We got upgraded from a garden suite to a jacuzzi suite. In my opinion both the rooms were marvellous. Breakfast was served to the room every morning or one could prefer to have it near the pool or in the lounge as well. The choices are between American, continental and Asian. The food was just delicious and came with fresh croissants, eggs, bacon, sausages, juices and plenty more. It seemed like we were having breakfast in a middle of a beautiful forest. Both Mira and Dhita who manage the property really know how to treat guests. They pamper you with their kindness and ensure that you have an amazing time at their villas. They are setting a new benchmark when it comes to great Hospitality. We really wished we could have spent more time, but we are definitely going back. Thanks a ton to Mira, Dhita and rest of the staff to make our time in Jamahal a very memorable one. 10 on 10 for everything.
"Awesome anniversary celebratory stay - kudos to jamahal staff !!!"
We stayed at Jamahal for 4 nights to celebrate our 9th anniversary recently. We were look for a combination of wellness and relaxation, to get away from the grind. Jamahal helped price a package which met all our needs - romantic candle-lit dinner, spa, yoga, all in a convenient location, close to the beach. Designing a package suited to our needs and making the reservation was a seamless process, done entirely on emails. Airport transfers were great - good condition cars, careful driver and most importantly on-schedule. The property is compact and beautifully designed and maintained. Villas are luxurious and well sized for an uber comfy stay. Each villa has a patio and outdoor bathroom with a sunken bathtub. The pool is like a beautiful lagoon and has 2 huge day beds and 4 recliners. It is never "crowded" so perfect for a little dip to get out of the heat. All in Superb !! Special mention for the amazing food. We had breakfast and evening tea at the villa daily, most days on the patio and once each by the poolside. We loved the food so much that we ended up eating 4-5 lunches/dinners there as well. The taste and quality of food, as well as presentation were fabulous. Our spa experience was very good as well. Tried 2 different types of therapies and liked both. The little cabana style beach club area is pretty cool. Even on a sunny day, it is in the shade due to the large trees. Books, drinks, food, beach towels, everything is made available to guests. We loved it and had lunch there one day. The staff is simply amazing and goes all out to make your stay perfect and special. We definitely will go back to this little hidden gem!
Dita (the manager) is a very sweet lady who will ensure you have a memorable and a comfortable stay at the resort. The resort is a cozy, quaint little place with very few rooms and no restaurant. The common pool is big and usually not crowded. My husband and I stayed there for 3 days in a Villa with a private pool. The room was big, well organized and we loved the idea of a outdoor open-air bathroom. You are expected to put in your breakfast request the previous night, and the meal is served to you exactly at the requested time. Since they do not have a restaurant, the meals are usually neatly set up and served in your room. From the resort, it is a short ride to the attractions in the south - Uluwatu temple (the sunset from here is gorgeous), Nusa Dua beach etc. We also had a spa treatment done at the resort - the Jamahal massage was simply amazing! The food is served fresh, the people are personable and the hospitality is out of this world. I would highly recommend this place.
