"Good Business Hotel"
Good location, good value for money and staff is helpful. Be aware they charge for the fitness center - just bring your goggles and swim cap as the pool is free to use. The WIFI is slooooooooow. Be sure to bring your CAT6 cable to plug into the wall as that is much faster.
"3.5 rating really"
Stayed here for first few nights of China trip. The hotel is ok. Good things: - location .....close metro station and also to Beijing Railway Station. Number of dining options within walking distance as well as shopping - helpful staff. Even though English is limited there was always someone with a decent command of English to solve an issue - breakfast buffet plentiful and lots of variety - big bath towels - big king bed and comfy pillows Not so good (hence rating): - room carpet needs to be ripped up and new carpet laid or minimum steam cleaned as was filthy. I know it's hard to keep carpet clean but a good vacuum to pick up someone else's toe nail clippings would be a good thing - bathroom - shower over bath with no major grab rails. Definitely not for those who can't get in and out of the bath. High sides and slippery tiles on bathroom floors when wet. Could be quite dangerous for anyone really.....be careful.
"Decent, but no more"
Definitely looks like a five star hotel and the rooms are very clean and comfortable - if completely lacking in personality The location is also good - walking distance from the pedestrian street and near one of the main highways But a number of things were disappointing: Staff (including concierge) lacked basic English Food looked much better than it tasted But most annoying were the room keys which didn't work almost half the time I would choose another hotel next time
"A business hotel in an excellent location"
This is an elegant property with a touch of decadence and the air of retro feeling of the nineties, is located in an excellent spot. It is close to Wangfujin shopping street, the Forbidden City and other major tourism sites of the Chinese Capital. The fumes of the house exhumes the opulence of the heroic days of the Chinese opening and economic reforms, but a bit dated to modern travelers, unless they seek to relive those glory days of the age, which disappeared down the drain of history.
"Great Hotel for short or long stay!"
The room was a little smaller than expected, but it was still livable with two people. The hotel is conveniently located right near Beijing Railway station so it is very easy to travel to the different sites! The hotel is very professional, well versed in English, very accommodating. As soon as you walk in you feel good about the hotel. Great décor and the room service is not too bad. (There are many restaurants located around the hotel as well if you don't want room service.) There is also twenty four hour front desk and airport transfer. The security is great as well, both in the hotel and around the area. There are police on every corner and they are also helpful with directions if you get lost. I felt very safe the entire time. If you want free Wifi, there is some in the hotel lobby and in your room, however, it is China so expect some delays. We stayed for four nights, and it was very pleasant. We would highly recommend if staying in Beijing.
