"Family vacation "
Just came there today for an overnight stay, duplex room is very nice and clean. Not as new but very nice. My family liked the room. Facilities are very good. My kids loved the pool especially the kiddie pool. Champions was good as well, we had our lunch, a little issue that my food needed to be reheated but the rest was good. Crew was also accommodating. Only feedback is that no one from the bell boys helped my parents carry our luggage coming in and out they were looking. Also they were visibly counting their tips without even assisting us. Improvement in this area is needed. I will still recommend the place and we will still visit soon.
"2/3 days relax"
Marriot Jordan Hotel is one of the best resorts in dead sea Very good relaxing spa for 2/3 days Rooms are big and clean with full needed options Wifi is free Swiming pool for kids plus two other swiming pool The beach is awesome!! Staff are friendly and animation team are funny Food quality is Ok plus there are two separate restaurants Small kindergarteners available
We stayed at the hotel only for one night as we wanted to experience the Dead Sea from a nice hotel. The lifeguard next to the sea was very friendly and helpful by bringing us some thick salt and also by taking us some pictures while covered with mud. The room was well equipped but wifi is free only in the public area, to access from the room there is an extra charge. Wide choice of restaurant but none of them specialized in local cuisine. The breakfast offered a wide choice of food with various stations. The interiors are very well curated
"Very busy hotel that didn't feel like a five-star experience"
We had wanted to end our wonderful stay in Jordan with a five-star hotel experience. It didn't feel like a five star experience, unfortunately. The breakfast buffet is good. However, the coffee and tea served with it, is sad and tasteless. Having another kind of coffee was an extra 4 or 5 JD which I found a little rich considering what we had already paid for the buffet. We wanted to eat by the pool but it turns out there is no poolside service which was annoying as it meant we had to eat inside (no outdoor food service at all). The staff in the Italian restaurant were very nice though, the food mediocre. The dinner buffet was plentiful too. One of the chefs took time to explain the different salads to me as there was no signage but only because I asked him. He tracked me down later to ask how I had liked it. We never had enough towels, water, or body lotion in our room. We got towels for two people but we were three, same for water and body lotion. My terrace door didn't lock which is ironic considering there is a permanent sign on that door saying to lock the door for safety. The black down curtain had fallen down on the edges so the bright light shining on the terrace shone right into the room all night (the curtains were fixed later). Calling for help was an ordeal as the staff don't speak English well enough to understand our requests. The room was quiet but the view sad (another hotel).
"Crowded standard hotel, with poor service"
We stayed at the hotel and got 2 adjoining rooms. The rooms were both not very clean. They were very dusty. At first I though the rooms had not been used in a while, but I think cleaning was just scatty. I stayed in 1 room with 2 kids. I asked for water, towels and extra body lotion (bring your own instead). I had to call about 4 times before I got what I requested. I had to go through the same ordeal the next day. The problem is nobody speaks English very well. When you call, the people to respond speak limited English and with a heavy accent, making it difficult to understand. I was told both days, that they would charge me for the body lotion and water!! I did explain that we were three people and needed water for 3 and body lotion. But I think that says everything about the level of service. The area is extremely hotel and dry and the dead sea is salty and therefore your skin dries out. They should anticipate this little insignificant thing. The kids cannot access the adult pool. The adult pool as the best view. You cannot have food at the pool. You need to go to a restaurant, either an sports bar (pretty awful) or an Italian restaurant. The restaurants open at 1pm, which was quite late for our kids. There is very little shade, and the shade there is is reserved for the bar. I cannot recommend the hotel.
