"Stayed for a conference"
It was the perfect hotel for the event I was attending. The conference facilities are just outstanding. Services was perfect and rooms very nice. Breakfast top and also all other meals we had very good. I enjoyed that WIFI was free and we did not had to log in every day. Perfect Hotel for Business, but also for a short leasure stay. I can only recommend it.
We could see both the Emirates palace and the Presidential palace from our bathroom windows. Sitting room area was even more spectacular with helicopters and racing boats below us on the Corniche. Suite was very well equipped with the most opulent furnishings , more tasteful than the glitsy golden decor much loved locally. Staff really happy and friendly, hostesses very elegant and the pool staff so keen to help. Gym better than average hotel with loan of earphones and free water . Would love to return but saw a model of a new Jumeriah hotel they are building locally so might have to give it a try
"A plush hotel"
I recently spent one night at Jumeirah at Etihad Towers on business trip. The hotel is part of a large real estate development with office buildings, apartments and a luxury shopping mall. Superb location on the Corniche with great views over the Emirates Palace hotel and the sprawling King's Palace. Impressive lobby with high ceiling, panoramic windows and marble in every corner. Actually the whole property seems to have been designed to impress guests and visitors either through the architecture, the choice of construction materials, the sheer size of the building or the quaint elevators' decoration. Rooms are spacious, clean and elegantly decorated. I found the room's lighting system overly complex and it took me some time to find out how to operate the electrically actuated curtains. Large bathroom with a tub and a shower as well as plenty of toilet amenities. Efficient and professional service. Nice swimming pool although the pool area space is relatively limited. Many food options in or immediately next to the hotel such as Japanese, Lebanese or Italian restaurants. Although there is very little to criticize about Jumeirah at Etihad Towers it is nevertheless an expensive option for a stay in Abu Dhabi. Other high-end hotels such as the Rosewood finally offer a better value for money.
"#1 in AD"
In my humble opinion this monster hotel is incomparable with other hotels in Abu Dhabi, it has every thing that you can think of from restaurants, bars, spa, beach . and a mall!.....anything you want. Its the Hotel to stay in in AD and trust me its an attraction by itself!
"Lovely hotel with pleasant staff"
Stayed the end of January for 4 nights finishing off a trip to Dubai. Hotel very plush and the room we had was well appointed with a great view albeit on the 42nd floor ~ quite high which may not suit everyone. The only reason that I have given only 4 * is nitpicking but for a couple of days we didn't have our drinking glasses replaced and only 1 wine glass was in our room from check in ~not that I would have drunk from the mini bar as very expensive as were the ridiculously overpriced evening restaurant meals in the Hotel. Would have also liked a proper fridge without all the small bottles of alcohol which had probably been there since the hotel opened.Plenty of bathroom soaps, shower gel etc with lemon grass smell. So much choice for breakfast with delicious omelettes etc made to order and brought to your table. Good hot shower, double sinks, bath and spacious shower. Hotel room was very clean with slippers & robes provided along with a turn down service and a chocolate each evening. All staff we encountered were very pleasant and helpful. Downside was the constant noise from ongoing building works next to the hotel, a small beach but seems they will be building on the reclaimed land opposite the beach and small sea channel so not sure how that will look. Plenty of taxis always available, very busy outside hotel but well managed by the staff. Useful small Waitrose underneath hotel in case any forgotten items or supplies needed. Great views out to sea over the Emirates Palace Hotel and from the Observatory on the '74th floor~ free to go up if staying in hotel otherwise you have to pay although some money back if food is bought.
