"Location, Location, Location!"
My Wife and I stayed here at the beginning of September, having chosen the hotel for its location, and we certainly made the right decision. Various estimates give the walking time to the Old Town Square as between 10 - 20 mins, indeed the hotel's own website gives it at 20 mins. You would however have to be a very slow walker to take that long and I would say that it is no longer than 15 mins walk away. But the main attraction of this location is the transport links right opposite. The metro is literally seconds away, and the main bus station is located immediately behind. With virtually all of Prague's attractions being no more than 5 stops on the metro, you can be at any one of them within 15 mins after leaving your hotel room! There is also a decent sized supermarket right next to the metro, and if you are on a budget it is an ideal place to buy snacks and has everything you might need to make up a packed lunch. A day ticket which covers travel on buses, trams and the metro can be bought at reception for only 110czk (about £3.50), and the convenience of this and the ease and quickness of travel, meant instead of lugging around excess baggage all day, we could just take what we needed for the morning, come back to the hotel for lunch, and then go back out with what we needed for the afternoon. Handy when you are in your sixties like us, and don't want to carry too much! The hotel itself is modern and comfortable, the staff are all pleasant and helpful, and rooms are clean and spacious. The bathroom is slightly lacking in toiletries and there is no separate shower, but these are only minor downsides. Another little plus, is that they loan you adaptors at reception for your electrical appliances. Very handy as we forgot ours! We arrived 2 hours ahead of the check-in time of 14.00, and really expected to only drop our cases so we could go out exploring. However Radka went out of her way to find us a vacant room which we could use immediately, which was very much appreciated. Breakfast was in our opinion the biggest plus of our stay here. It is a self-service affair, but there are plenty of staff around to ask if you need any help, and tables are cleared speedily so there was always adequate places to sit. I would say every taste was catered for, but just in case you may want something that is not on display, there is a sign stating you can ask. So presumably if you fancied a poached egg, instead of the options on display, they would do you one, although we never requested this ourselves. In our opinion, this is certainly an above average 4 star hotel, which we would recommend wholeheartedly.
"Prague with family."
This hotel is well placed next to metro, tram and buses to make the short trip into the historic old town very easy. Friendly staff ready to help with travel and where to eat. Must visit the castle, Charles Bridge the astronomical clock is a must (be there just before the hour!)
"Nice and comfortable hotel near the center of Praha"
We stayed two separate days in this hotel in September and was very satisfied with everything. Jurys Inn is near to almost everything you want to see and experience during your stay in Praha. We highly recommend Jurys Inn HotelPrague.
"A brief stay in Prague"
The hotel is modern and comfortable and the staff is very helpful. The metro is right across the street and the tram stops right in front. My room had everything I needed. The only thing lacking is charm. There is no separate dining area, just tables in a large open space that includes the front desk.
"ONE NIGHT IN PRAG"
The staff is very kind, rooms are clean, peacefull and I sleep well. The breakfast was very very good with a lot of choices. For lounch we order some special menu and service was quick and food good.
