"Delightful anniversary lunch at The Gril - JW Marriott Seoul (Business Lunch)"
It was one of the best dinning experiences that I had! I was looking for a place to host an anniversary lunch with my fiancé and we both agreed to visit The Gril at JW Marriott Seoul without any hesitation. The reason why we have chosen this property again this year was due to our delightful service experiences that we have gotten from the associates a year ago especially from the 'Hyunseong'. He was very thoughtful and was able to make our dinning experiences extra special by offering complimentary dessert to us as an anniversary gift! What a great personal connection that he made. Overall, the food was amazing and the ambient is suitable for quiet dinning. I will visit this place once again without any hesitation and will recommend this place to the others.
Just came from a 5 day stay for an event and I must say that every aspect of the stay was positive. Only let down was that the sauna was not included in the price which was annoying as I like the sauna after a day of work. The staff were all amazing and kind, the location good and easy for the metro to Seoul station. The food was the best that I have had at a hotel in a long time, I am still on Kimchi withdrawals. Such a good selection of foods Asian & Western and I usually don’t like Asian breakfasts! The room was a nice size and had everything you needed, the cleaners were very sweet and kind also and were very helpful for any extra requests. Nice comfy bed and the shower and the bath were nice although I did not get a chance to use the bath. Wifi good and fast as it is in Korea. I would stay again and look forward to my stay back in Seoul when I running low on Soju!
"Just right, and more"
Stayed for three nights - business trip. Received a nice Platinum upgrade to a junior suite, which was very nice. All of the staff are responsive, professional, and kind - from the manager, Mr, Cernia, to front desk's Amie and concierge Julia. But really - all! The lounge is truly excellent - again, all the staff super helpful, and they serve a great breakfast and evening buffet. Worth it to pay to go to that level. The gym is excellent too - lots of equipment (including an amazing leg massager for after running) and plenty of room. They give you exercise clothes (except shoes) and it has a fabulous sauna. The location is great because of the subway connection underneath, which I took to visit different areas. There is also a high end shopping mall next door and a ridiculously enormous, well-stocked and good looking food arcade (between the mall and the subway). I took the bus 6020 for airport transportation and recommend it: easy, efficient, and a good value. This was my first visit to Seoul, and I know I will stay again at this property next time.
i stayed in this hotel for 10 nights amzing hotel rooms are big and clean, executive lounge with food one of the best i have been spa - like never seen in other hotels. of you come to seoul - no need to look - only JW MARRIOTT SEOUL !
"Classy, Great for Shopping, but Better Places and Locations in Seoul"
Certainly great service, amenities, cleanliness, etc. The club lounge is good for working, but not for food: very standard breakfast, but not even real eggs so can't have scrambled eggs (it's "liquid egg"), no food of substance during they day (some nuts). Rooms are a good size, but very conservative and even a little tired. The big plus of course is that it's inside the shopping mall, the bus terminal and has a connected subway station. Yes, it also has a very nice pool. However, I believe the best secret to staying in the Marriott family in Seoul is The Plaza Seoul at City Hall. See my review.
