"Superb location, spacious room."
Fantastic location. Our room overlooked the canal. Easy walking distance to the metro, Kremlin, Red Square. We walked to Gorky Park. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Breakfast was ok. It had a separate lift so you didn't need to go through the lobby. There was a good choice of cold meats ,fish, pastries. Hot food was more limited and luke warm. The first day we were on our own at breakfast and apart from being welcomed by staff were left on our own. There was no toaster. Coffee and tea was always available in the lobby. Staff at reception were pleasant. We had a minibar in the room. We didn't buy from it but we did use the fridge. I struggled to get wifi on my phone although my husband managed it with his ipad. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. We had room 205 which had a lovely deep bath. Supplied toiletries were good too. Kettle in the room but limited tea and coffee. No milk. Nescafe 3 in 1 sachets but we don't take sugar. Found the light switches in the room eventually. I would certainly stay in this hotel again
"Great location. Warm reception. Decent breakfast."
My wife and I visited Moscow on late August, and stayed in Kadashevskaya Hotel for two nights. The hotel arranged airport pick up which is very convenient. The location is very convenient where is about one mile walking to the Red Square, Kremlin and GUM; and the other direction only half mile walking to The State Tretyakov Gallery. The Metro Tretyakovskaya is less an mile. The breakfast is great, lots of variety.
"Excellent hotel, great staff and a good location"
I enjoyed my stay at the Kadashevskaya Hotel in Moscow. It is on a quiet street facing the Moskva River. If you get a room at the front you face the river and beyond that you’ll see the red stars of the Kremlin and the domes of St. Basil Cathedral. It is a short walk from the State Tretyakov Museum (an extraordinary collection of Russian art of the past 1000 years), and the Kremlin, Red Square and St. Basil are all within easy walking distance. The room was very comfortable, spacious and well organized. There was a large desk and easily accessible electrical outlets. Breakfast was included in the rate -- it was enjoyable and certainly convenient. There are many restaurants in the area and the food was excellent and affordable. The staff were very helpful, spoke English, and quickly arranged for transportation to and from various places. I’ll plan to stay there next time I am in Moscow.
"Good value hotel"
I stayed at the hotel for four nights in late September. A ten to fifteen minutes' walk to the Red Square, a fifteen to twenty minutes' walk to the nearest metro station. Not a prime choice for location. Staffs are nice with good English. Free self-service coffee and tea available next to the check-in counter. Room size is average but the beds are too limp. Bath tubs are a bit too high to climb out. Wifi can be accessible inside my room which has a good view of the river. Breakfasts at the Italian restaurant are good but not great. Good value to money if you don't want to be pampered.
"Nice high class hotel in the heart of Moscow"
This small hotel is very coneviently located just 10 minutes walk from Red Square and Kremlin. The property is fairly new and rooms are well maintained. Whilst hotel's Italian restaurant is not necessarily the best option for dinner, it serves very well at breakfast time. Reception staff isn nice and freindly speaking good English.
