The Kapari Hotel is located in the tranquil village of Imerovigli, at the top of the picturesque Caldera and overlooking the deep azul of the Aegean Sea. It is next to the historical ruins of the Venetian Castle on the Skaros Rock, which you can admire from the luxury of your hotel room.
Only a 20 minute walk away from the pretty town of Fira, The hotel has a wealth of activities right on its doorstep. You can have a look around the shops, or taste the Greek cuisine in one of the many restaurants. The Kapari Hotel is also well connected via transport links; it is only 8km from Santorini airport and 10km from the main port of the island.
"Lovely hotel, amazing staff"
Stayed for a week in April Key highlights: 1) brilliantly attentive staff who learn your breakfast orders, provide you with complimentary drinks and help organise your itinerary 2) great room, excellent bedding, lots of storage space, lovely mood lighting, great hot tub 3) lovely breakfast 4) wonderful sunset to be enjoyed from multiple areas of the hotel Room for improvement: The room sometimes got quite warm in the night and the hot tub temperature was difficult to control
"A perfect stay in a modern cave resort"
I am obsessed with Kapari. When booking our accommodation for Santorini, I was determined to stay in the most picturesque place possible—I wanted it to be just like what I'd seen in pictures and movies. Kapari definitely came through! It's location in the tiny village Imerovigli, which sits between the busier towns of Oia and Fira, which made it easier to walk to either. Because it's somewhat off the beaten path, we rarely encountered other people while at the resort, which made it feel incredibly serene, and perfect for reading on the roof deck and watching the sun go down over the Aegean. The view is INCREDIBLE from all the rooms at the resort, and every room has its own little outdoor space with pristine little pools and seats for lounging. The room, too, was my dream space. It was styled to look like a traditional cave home, and true to its name ("Natural"), all of the materials used were simple, tasteful, and of the earth. We were upgraded from one of their "vanilla" rooms to a deluxe room at no extra charge. The room had a kitchenette and a large, cavernous bathroom that you wound down a set of stairs to get to, complete with shower and jacuzzi. The included breakfast was a highlight of our stay each morning. It featured a buffet of cereals, fruit, and baked goods, and you could also order off a menu of egg dishes. Perhaps the best part of our stay, however, was the incredibly helpful staff who were ready and willing to lend a hand or give us a recommendation (or ten) for things to do and places to go around the island. And when we told them we had a late flight on the last day, they let us extend our checkout to 6 p.m. We kept wondering: have they mistaken us for famous people' But I think they're just hospitality pros. So yeah. Stay at Kapari if you're down to splurge a little!
"Amazing location. Terrific accommodation and service."
Perched on the side of the cliff overlooking the Aegean Sea, the Kapari feels as close as one could come to paradise. The rooms, carved out of caves, the food and the service are all amazing, and the views are sublime. But the staff here may be the best part. From the greeting on arrival to the advice on just about anything about the island and the little personal touches throughout out our stay, the staff here helped make our week that much more special.
"Intense relaxation! "
One of the most special places that we have visited. Accommodation and service were faultless in all respects and on on a par with more expensive hotels. The pool area will seem small to some but we thought that it was in proportion to the size of the resort / in keeping with the style of hotels in Santorini. We hope to visit again this summer.
"Beautiful hotel with amazing view and food!"
My husband surprised me with a trip to Santorini last August and we had the pleasure of staying in this gorgeous hotel. Our room was clean, spacious and very nicely decorated. The staff were all fantastic and super helpful - they even upgraded our room to the best room on our very last night including private jacuzzi. If you've been to Santorini before, you know that the views are special and although you're sharing the same view with so many people, it always feels personal - and staying here was the cherry on top! Food was also top notch, beautifully presented and tasting! I would not hesitate to stay here again and would totally recommend it!
