The Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest enjoys a superb location, right in the centre of Budapest. The major attractions of the city are within walking distance of the hotel, like the Chain Bridge, St Stephen’s Basilica, the Parliament Buildings and the National Opera House. The hotel is easily accessible by car.

"Great hotel centrally located"
Stayed in a quite spacious junior suite at Kempinski. Great service all around from room service to bar and restaurants. Really great breakfast in the in house ES restaurant with everything you can think of in the buffet. Spa is really nice with all features but the pool is not big enough for swimming. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back again.
"We loved the hotel"
Great staff, great beds, great food and coffee (Es Bistro, the Living Room, Nobu-sushi), spa, really clean, very close to all the places to visit. They were able to offer us early check-in. In a nutshell, everything you want in a hotel. We visited with our son and had an extra bed rolled in, there was plenty of space even after that. The concierge helped us find a great Segway tour, which we recommend.
"Loved the Kempinski Corvinus in Budapest "
We greatly appreciated the comfort, loveliness and perfect location of this hotel in Budapest. Everything was provided to make our stay comfortable, the staff was exceptional, and we hope to go back someday. We loved our suite ...The reservation staff provided exactly what we hoped for, and was as I requested when we made the reservation. We also appreciated the room being made available early to my husband, who arrived before check in time. The bed linens were top quality, pillows soft and comfy, towels thick and comfortable. We loved the coffee machine. The location of the room was very quiet, and my husband had a comfortable place to work, while I relaxed separately. The bathtub and shower were wonderful. If we needed anything, we called and whatever we requested was brought up quickly. The breakfast buffet was delightful - top quality food; exceptional variety, and we loved sitting outside. Made to order was perfect - perfect poached eggs and omelets. Bread was delicious. Espresso coffee excellent. (One exception: my husband didn't care for the French toast, which was encrusted in sugar.) We were especially pleased when we had to leave the hotel at 7 AM on a Sunday morning, and we were still able to enjoy the buffet breakfast, which opened at 6 AM! We really appreciated this. The restaurant staff was very helpful and pleasant. Our concierge, Mr. Attila, was extremely helpful and informative. He gave us good recommendations, and helpful information throughout our stay. We were very happy with the luxury, location and value at this hotel, and as I mentioned, we would love to go back one day.
"One of the best in Budapest"
I stayed one night and used the conference rooms for a day. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean. The location is great as is 5 min walk to the riverside. The food could be a bit better as there were not many choices for lunch.
"Quite Good Overall"
Positives: Beautiful hotel, central location, excellent facilities, polite friendly staff. Great massage. Spa/pool area is lovely but a bit small. Wow Factor: we got a free upgrade to a suite because they didn't have the room we'd booked available Negatives: 1. The hotel's no cancellation policy is punitive. My wife and I went to celebrate a 50th birthday, but we almost lost all the money we'd used for the 3 night booking due to a family illness. Having to pay for the whole trip in advance to a hotel which doesn't accept cancellations means you have no right to redress. Personally, I wouldn't book Corvinus hotel again for this reason alone. 2. We almost arranged a spa package, but the wording on the website was strange. When I rang up and asked a member of staff, I discovered that the spa package includes free massage but only on 1 day and not every day! So don't book a 10 day spa package at a much higher price than a normal stay, because you will be paying a lot extra for the package, and for only 1 massage! 3. We accidentally broke a very ordinary-looking table lamp, worth maybe £20-30. I rang reception to apologies, and expected to be charged about £100 at checkout. The next day at check out we were charged £300 (!!) for damages. Consumables in the room have a huge markup (£3 for a small 25p plastic bottle of mineral water anyone'), that philosphy seems to extend to anything you accidentally break. 4. Generally, things in the hotel are overpriced. I wouldn't suggest paying for inclusive breakfast, as there are lovely places to get breakfast nearby.
