The hotel is in a perfect location. That said - I wouldn't stay there again if given a choice. Paid extra for the Club amenities which were not worth it. The room had a filthy rug and was tiny. The hotel was bragging that it was celebrating its 30th anniversary - and it probably hasn't been cleaned in that long as well!!!
Stayed here for 1 night from nov 22 to 23, it was a good hotel. Modern, bathroom clean, hotel at main road at tsim tsa tsui and near to the MTR and Mall. Room was good , comfort mattress ( comparing with kimberley hotel). Will be back again to kowloon hotel for sure.
"Excellent location - small rooms"
The hotel is excellently located right behind the peninsula hotel. 5 min walk to star ferry, access to the metro is down stairs. Rooms are small and I found the wifi a bit patchy. A good base to explore Hong Kong
"Good location, good price ... not so good service."
It's hard to beat the location. Right in the heart of Tsim Tsa Shui, just behind the Peninsula. And the price is right, too - magnitudes smaller than the Peninsula. The rooms are decent-sized for the neighborhood, with good bedding, a good shower, and if you're lucky - a good view. I just wish that the hotel had service that was as good as the facility. We arrived at the hotel at 7 PM on a Friday ... and our room wasn't ready. We were told to give our luggage to a porter and wait 30 minutes. We'd been traveling all day, and this was not welcome news. Worse, the staff clearly was under-trained in how to deal with our credit card and passports. Then, not more than five minutes after we checked into our room, a member of the housekeeping staff rung our bell and asked to be let in. She didn't speak any English and we don't speak Chinese or Cantonese, so we let her in not knowing what it was about. Well, as soon as she was in the room, she produced a plastic garbage bag and proceeded to empty the contents of the mini-bar into it. Not sure why, but it felt like an insult. Why not just lock it up or - better yet - assume that the credit card number we used to pay for the room would be fine for additional charges (believe me, it's far from its limit). Moments like these turn a very good hotel into an average one that I'd be reluctant to stay at again.
"God location, tiny rooms "
Stayed here for five nights Located in the heart the action Kowloon very close to shops, restaurants, transport and attractions. The night markets are about a 15 minute walk. Nathan road is super busy with lots of food, shopping and attractions along the way Star ferry terminal is a short walk and MTR station literally steps away. Great location. Central station is one stop on the MTR. Hotel is very popular with large groups so checking in can take a little while if large groups have just arrived. However, no major issues. Rooms are TINY so don't expect large spacious rooms- you will not find that in Hong Kong. We were lucky we could shove our suitcases under the bed. If you have a bulky suitcase, it will pretty much take all the available floor space! We forgot to bring our adapters for our electronics. The room has a $HK18 adaptor set for purchase which we used There is no iron board or iron in room. Just asked reception and they will provide you one. Pillows were very average, definitely needed new replacements No gym on site but you can use gym across street for a cost (I found it too expensive so just did lots of walking instead!). During our stay there was a typhoon. The hotel staff were very vigilant and felt very safe and secure. The floor in the lobby was never wet which was impressive given the volume of rain and large amounts of guests. Wifi is free in rooms for two electronic devices. If you use a third, there is an additional charge
