La Réserve Genève - Hotel and Spa is ideally located on the shores of Lake Geneva in a residential suburb just over three miles from the town center and two miles from the international airport. A cleverly concealed reserve of happiness available only to those in the know...
"A fairy tale"
It is the perfect place if you want to feel special. The rooms are amazing. Every detail is on point. Now in this cold season time, just entering the lobby a great fireplace is there to keep you warm and to make you feel like home. The staff is just great. They are so attentive and they just want you to have an amazing time there and forget about your troubles. The spa is amazing. It is so luxury but at the same time comfortable. I am wordless when I have to talk about their Chinese restaurant. Me and my boyfriend ordered the emerald menu and wowwww ..I mean you have to taste it to understand how amazing it was. It is a must whether you are staying at the hotel or you just want a great dinner to remember!!! The staff is always there for you they explain everything and treat you like a queen. The most beautiful experience I have ever had. Ohh and the breakfast. It is so delicious and the restaurant is just a fairy tale on earth. Oh and they even have sushi). If you want to forget about the real world, to have some time for yourself, or maybe you just want to feel special you have to go there.
"Favourite in Geneva"
As ever a wonderful stay - attentive staff, delicious food and insanely comfortable beds. Easily my favourite hotel in Geneva. The swimming pool is divine and if you can't get a reservation at the Chinese restaurant the sushi menu upstairs is wonderful.
"Incredible lakeside luxury"
La Reserve is close to Geneva Airport (5 mins drive) but surprisingly peaceful for also being located very near Geneva's huge lake. The first things I noticed were the helpful, attentive, respectful staff and then the lovely smell that pervades the whole hotel. The decor is luxurious but tasteful & unpretentious. The rooms are large, comfortable and quiet. My only slight criticism would the price of the drinks and the somewhat limited menu that might become an issue on a longer stay. Great hotel choice for a business trip.
"Enjoying the good life at la Reserve"
I had the pleasure to spend some time at la Reserve and got the privilege of visiting the resort on a private tour, beautifully done by Mehdi, the Guest Experience Manager. Once you enter the premises you are welcomed by torches and candles which gives a very warm atmosphere. Once inside, the decor, the smell of the fireplace and the hospitable staff confirms the feeling that they are genuinely happy to have you as a guest. The tour included the massive Spa, the wintergarden, the private villa (wow, if one day....), the restaurants and ended in the bar where a DJ added some vibe with his lounge tunes. Beautiful people sipping cocktails fit right in. The dinner at The Loti was great. As the new chef was preparing a new menu, the menu in the bar and the restaurant were the same but we very much enjoyed the Scallops, the Squid, the Cod and the Scampi noodles. La Reserve is on my 'places to recommend list' from now on.
I did not like the hotel whatsoever. If you are visiting Geneva avoid this hotel. It has rooms with reddish wall paint and very dated lamps. The rooms are dirty and full of micro dust, which made my nose runny all through my two nights stay. The is absolutely no views and the beach is nothing but a clever marketing ploy- in fact the property is not on the lake. The interior decor of the hotel and its facilities are very old and does not fit a savvy traveller. The buffet breakfast is the worst I have encountered and the charges are exorbitant. Unless you want to use the spa which is also very tired, the hotel is not for a modern traveller looking for the very best money can buy. I was so shocked when a request for early departure was declined unless I paid full for remaining days, something many hotels will do if you spend at least one night. The price they charge is not worth it and I wouldn't even spend a night here for free!!! They need to upgrade and renovate the rooms urgently. On the other side, the staff are amazing and very good people. They work so hard to please the guests despite the old facilities. They smile and smile and keep trying to improve customer experience
