"Absolutely fabulous "
We spent 2 nights here on our honeymoon and could not have asked for more from the staff at this hotel who went out of their way to make the experience so special. The staff were truly excellent across the board from check-in desk to the cleaning crew. To our delight, the staff had been extremely thoughtful and dropped off two umbrellas for us in our rooms on their initiative as there was forecast rain that day. Hats-off to a really fantastic group. Besides that, the location is fantastic with access to all major transport links in HK and all amenities within a stone's throw due to its connection with the mall next door. Room and facilities were also top notch as the hotel is newly renovated following the recent rebranding from Langham. All in all, highly recommended!
Great Club lounge with a good variety of food - one of the best I've been in. Great location with the mall attached and near rail station and ladies market . Great service. Was given upgraded room, as was available, with separate lounge at no charge - very nice!
We stayed at a corner suite with Club Lounge Access for 7 nights. The room has a beautiful view of the harbor and the city with 180 degree view. Great furnishing and the furnishing is tastefully done. Very modern and chic. Very comfy bed and large bathroom. The room is very clean and the team that service the rooms are very clean and polite. All amenities are top up everyday. The service at the lounge has a beautiful aspect. Great view and excellent food and drinks. The manger and staff at the lounge are very professional.Special shout out to the manager Eric at the club lounge. Location is perfect. All in all very happy with our stay and we will be back.
"Amazing - One of the best"
I've stayed at numerous hotels in Hong Kong over the last 10 years, and this would be the best one yet. The location is in the heart of Mong Kok, the MTR station is across the road, and everything else within walking distance (even Tim Ho Wan in Olympic was an easy walk for an amazing meal). Where this hotel stands out is the Club Level benefits. The Club Room we booked had an amazing view, was beautifully presented, clean and featured a turn down service every night. Our room had a mini kitchen including sink, microwave, cutlery, wine glasses etc. The chaise lounge was a great spot to relax and take in the view as well. The only gripe (and it's pretty minor) is that I would have liked two sinks in the bathroom. Some of the "little things" also contributed to an overall great experience. My iPhone charging cord was neatly tied/strapped by the room service staff (so it was no longer dangling all over the place), the room had a universal power adapter included (great, as we'd forgotten to bring our own), and the free phone to use as a wireless hotspot when out and about was a lifesaver (free internet wherever you happened to be). All fantastic. At all other hotels the "club" benefits are mostly superficial - but not here. You get a dedicated (large) space on the 36th floor to unwind and relax with snacks (hot and cold food), drinks (soft and alcoholic), a champagne cocktail hour from 6-8pm and lots more. Being able to come back to the hotel before dinner, grab a glass of bubbles and some cheese and biscuits was a real highlight. Then, to come back later and sit by the windows with a glass of red and relax - amazing. I can't stress how great the club room was as a facility - and I would recommend upgrading to a club level room to everyone. I've never wanted to "stay in" for the night in Hong Kong, but this hotel changed that for me. We ate and drank at Alibi (one of the restaurants) on level 5 - and that was great too. Meals were a good size, and wine selections by the glass were good as well. The breakfast buffet at The Place was fantastic - one of the best spreads I've seen. You really couldn't have asked for more. Next time I'm going to Hong Kong, I won't even need to research where to stay - i know it's going to be here again.
"Could not provide basic amenities like sugar and coffee"
Stayed here for 2 nights and on both nights, I could not have coffee and tea. Reason being, it was not available in the room. After calling housekeeping, they promptly brought coffee and tea to the room but without any sugar nor milk. The following day, the same thing happened and after feedback to the reception, coffee, tea and milk was brought up to the room but no sugar. Such amenities are basic and makes me wonder how a hotel of this reput is not even able to provide such service. Besides, I had stayed in a studio room, not a standard room. The service level is appalling and extremely disappointing
