"Great service excellent and welcoming staff"
Me and my husband along with my 2 year old stayed at le meridian for a week, we received great service the staff were very friendly and accommodating, the first room they gave us was small for 3 people sharing so we asked for our room to be changed the next day, they without any hesitation found another room that was most suitable for us. They were very accommodating when it came to our 2 year old daughter and they absolutely loved her, the hotel staff all were very child friendly couldn't have asked for anything more.
"Would definitely return"
I had a week at this hotel and found it very welcoming. The whole hotel is well staffed and very clean, nothing is too much trouble for the staff there. The room was fairly ordinary for a hotel of this standard, no complaints there. The restaurant had good variety at every meal time, and was a good standard, very little fried rubbish which was nice to see. The pool was really nice and as warm as a bath which wasn't necessarily what you want in 40 degree weather but was still nice, and the private beach (man made) was just behind the pool which again was really nice. There is a complex of bars and restaurants should you fancy a change from the hotels own restaurant which brings in a lot of people from outside so in the evenings it's quite busy and social. Wifi also stretches to the pool area which I found a good plus. All in all I would recommend this hotel to visitors, its close to town, walking distance, and has good staff and facilities. If given the option pay the extra for the private lounge, it is lovely and has 24hr drinks.
Room was lovely and big with a lovely big bed. We had a delux city view room and the windows were filthy dirty! I understand that the hotel is right on a main road and is in the desert but it looked like our windows had not been cleaned for ages. When we were outside in the village all of the other windows looked the same! The service in the Latest Recipe bar was hit and miss. It depends where you sat as to whether or not you got served! Overall was a good break though.
"Great hotel in Abu Dhabi - friendly and mellow, at good value for money"
One of the older hotels in Abu Dhabi, with the best evening choice of entertainment. If you have been to Singapore, it's like a mini Clark Quay! And it actually has a sandy beach in the heart of the town, ALSO walking distance from Abu Dhabi Mall.
Do not stay at this hotel biggest mistake in my life! I come to the UAE 🇦🇪 for business I stay in the le Meriden in Dubai and it's the best experience of my life, I was staying in Abu Dhabi so I thought I would try the hotel here. Arrived first impression was fantastic staff were very helpful. I wanted to use the pool and facilities this is where it all when down hill. The women in the spa dressed in the purple outfit need to have a customer service course there attitude was disgraceful. I used the changing rooms the floor was disgusting the floor was dirty and very messy, wouldn't hurt for them to clean it once in a while, I spoke to the desk and they said they would get back on to it. I went to use the training pool was very disgusting and dirty asked somebody to clean and it was like to hard for them to do it. I swam anyway and felt so dirty so I went back to the changing room to have a shower and surprise surprise they haven't cleaned it. SO DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL BIGGEST MISTAKE IN MY LIFE
