"For elegent charm in a good location it has to be the place to stay in Warsaw"
This iconic building really is a special piece of architecture (inside and out) and couldn't be in a better location to explore Warsaw, right at the door step of the Old Town on Krakowskie Przedmiescie. The room was elegantly appointed, spacious and calming. The bed was big and comfortable. The rooms didn't have any special features but weren't lacking anything other than a good place to put your suitcase. The bathroom was nice, with the exception of the shower / bath, as the bath was so narrow you couldn't comfortably stand under the shower and the head was quite low making it hard for me (6'2) to stand under. A great feature of the hotel is the range of dining options. Cafe Bristol is worth visiting even if you don't stay in the hotel and the wine bar on Krakowskie Przedmiescie is great to sit out on and enjoy a drink. I had the same loverly girl check me in and out of the hotel. The only compliant is that I had to wait a bit before I could see someone to check in. The staff in the restaurants were very obliging and tried to help. The rest of the hotel staff we ok, but I didn't have much to do with them. Major compliant was that on my way to the airport they put me into a non main stream cab and the driver wanted to fleece me. The hotel should only put guests into reputable cabs.
"The best in Warsaw!...and in Poland!"
This Hotel is located in a great classical building and has undergone some refurbishment inside (particularly the rooms) but keeping the same old ambience and most of the old structure and décor. Since my first business visit to Warsaw in 2006, I have always stayed at the Bristol, with stays of an average twice a year. Great location. The comfort, friendly staff and good food are to be commended. They have remained for the last 9 years at the same standard i.e. excellent. For sure one of the best hotels in Poland and in Europe! ""The Grand Hotel" Bristol"
I stayed at Hotel Bristol for 3 nights in the beginning of September. The hotel itself is stunning visually both outside and inside. It has been recently renovated and boasts beautiful lobby, elegant bar, a lovely patio and a great restaurant. I especially enjoyed reading the New York Times in the charming Café Bristol on Sunday afternoon while sipping coffee and eating some delectable Black Forrest Cake after having spent some time in the swimming pool in the morning. The concierge service was very helpful, suggesting restaurants, drawing maps and booking taxis for us, and were over all very friendly and professional. The rooms are large, comfortable, clean and well maintained. My room had a small balcony and a great view, but sadly the door could not be opened, although the window could, which meant fresh air, a rare and most welcomed commodity in a hotel room. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Warsaw for business or pleasure. Extra bonus for super comfortable pillows and sheets, I slept like a baby!
What was great' Location. Rooms. Service. Pool/Sauna. Design. Price of room. What could be better' Wifi at room (only available free in the lobby). Breakfast was good, but not 5 stars good. TV channels (mostly news channels). I will definately stay here next time I visit Warsaw.
"SIMPLY THE BEST HOTEL IN POLAND"
Dear Guest, Please have a look what places in the world I visited, take into consideration I have not put all the destinations to TripAdvisor and... BELIEVE ME WORDS!!! BRISTOL WARSAW is the best place in Poland. Wonderfull architecture in Art Deco style in Varsovian 30's style. It's fantastic location in Warsaw. We had a promotional event of our company and we stayed in the hotel as the quests. Very good staff. You must visit Cafe Bristol - then you can feel atmospfere of prewar Warsaw. GREAT! The rooms are large, comfortable and very elegant. BAD: in some rooms air condition is not effiicient.
