"A wonderful experience "
I went for dinner here with my partner after exploring the Christmas markets. It is a very classy establishment with excellent decor and layout. The waiter was very welcoming and answered all of our questions about local traditions and attractions despite being busy. The sommelier gave us impeccable wine choices for our meals and even gave us lots of information on local wines. The menu was of a good size and offered a wide range of food all at reasonable prices. The same meal in London with that level of service would have been at least double the price. I highly recommend for anyone looking to have a nice meal out that won't break the bank.
Top notch hotel, attentive staff, very good location, clean, efficient. The staff overheard my 9 year old mention that she would love to try the chocolate in Budapest, and the next thing you know, they knock on the door with a plate full of chocolate pastries and truffles. This and the RC in New Orleans are the best in the chain.
I absolutely loved everything about this hotel. The hotel is beautiful and modern. Our suite was divine and located on the top floor with a city view. Every staff member was friendly, engaging, and warm-hearted. Their kindness made all the difference. They are the epitome of Ladies and Gentlemen here. The food at Deak's Street Kitchen was delicious, and the sommelier was superb. This was probably the best hotel experience I've ever had, and I truly didn't want to leave. I wish I could give it more stars. I can't say enough positive things about the Ritz-Carlton in Budapest. Just go. You won't be disappointed. Bupapest is an incredible city, and the Hungarian people were delightful.
"Best bartender in Budapest "
What an awesome and fun experience. Our bartender Peter asked us what we liked and didn't like and from our answers created cocktails I've never imagined would work together. Even if you don't stay there go have a drink there. The Kupola lounge in is awesome!
"New Year in Ritz-Carlton Budapest "
We were there to celebrate a New Year with friends. What was good: -very nice new hotel in a city center near to everything -Rooms - specious, well decorated. Extremely Comfortable beds. Lobby was also very nice. -The main restaurant - casual style-has entrance at the market street. Very delicious food but slow service. They had life music at the evenings, which was good. -brunch after NYear was amazing! What was bad: -pool: cold water, too small to swim. No sauna or spa. -housekeeping: disturbingly knocking the door two times a day -reception service: they blocked money from the credit card which we presented at arrival, so we received at any time SMS notifications from the bank for every single bill we made during our stay. We couldn't relax. And also the mess with the bill at the check out. There were many other small things : like a TV in our room which wasn't set the first day; The noises in the early morning I suppose from the underground station; The lack of any glamour in the restaurant on the NY. They even hadn't had tablecloth on the table. Definitely not a Ritz-Carlton level, but I hope it may change.
