Hotel needs serious upgrading. Rooms are not cheerful, are bare bones and out of date. Beds are uncomfortable. Hallways are dark and unimpressive. Paint is thin and wearing. Food is average. Nothing impressive about it.
"What a view"
Great location, first line to the sea. Great view, rooftop bar and restaurant. Right across the street is the beach. The atmosphere is calm an relaxing and I would definitely visit this hotel again. Food is nice, desserts- one of the bests I've ever tried. Frances know how to do it ;)
"Food really expensive and really bad"
The location is great , the hotel staff are average , the restaurant terrace bar serve , tandoori and Malaysian food all on one plate. I had a chicken Caesar salad with French dressing plus Caesar salad dressing , they served it with cold chicken , two glasses of wine £50 I just don't understand how you can get it so wrong and charge such crazy prices . I'm from love London so de sensitised to hiGh prices but. Zero tolerance for bad value . There is no discount for the beach it's 22 euros and room service food equally bad and I've never eaten a microwaves scone before with fake cream for £20 . Cooperate hotel for meetings not a holiday place . The pool is decorative not for use.
"Luxe by the sea."
The location is perfect and it is easy to walk to the old town and markets as well as the promenade. We had a wonderful view of the sea and the passing parade below. Staff were very attentive and breakfast was very good. The rooftop restaurant is pricey, but well worth the splurge. Our only quibble was lack of tea making facilities in your room.
"Great hotel, great location"
We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights over the Easter weekend. We requested an early check-in (dependent on availability), and got this as well as a room upgrade. The staff were generally very pleasant and helpful. The deluxe sea-view room with balcony was well worth it. It was clean and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The only thing lacking was a coffee machine. The views were absolutely amazing and a visit to the rooftop bar is highly recommended. The hotel is centrally located so the everything is within walking distance. The beach is a 5 minute walk, Galleries La Fayette 10 mins and the train station about 20 minutes away. There are loads of restaurants in the area, however they are pretty expensive. Try and visit the old village where you will find authentic cuisine and decent prices. Remember to put the Do Not Disturb sign on your door or you will be woken by housekeeping at 8 am!
