In my opinion this is a nice "Business Hotel" - the rooms are adecuate, the service is good, the restaurant is pleasant. I would not choose to stay here if I was on vacation as it is on a very busy street and really has no charm!
"Nice hotel. Location is just okay."
The hotel itself was very nice. I have stayed here multiple times and the rooms are updated and clean. Staff is very friendly. However, to get into the center of Stuttgart you must walk across an overpass over the highway. On the other side of the overpass it is very dark and as a female alone at night this can be a bit scary and there can be people just hanging out up and it can feel unsafe. With that being said, it is a short walk to the city center which makes the hotel ideally located. The breakfast buffet is expensive but delicious. The spa itself was a bit lacking in amenities but I received a good massage.
"Great central hotel"
Big rooms perfectly cleaned, beautiful bathroom with big and functional shower. The bed is really comfortable, one of the best ever. Reception personnel are very kind and helpful. Breakfast buffet rich of choices and tasty but the room is a little small. Didn't try spa and gym.
"Nice hotel but..."
Nice hotel but way over priced. This hotel is for the German elite and business elite. They offer very little for a high price. Gym was nice and breakfast offered a good spread. The gym was free and that was about the only thing provided free of charge at a almost insulting charge for a room. Internet was crazy slow and in half the hotel your phone won't work. Spa is really nice again very high price for both Germany and Stuttgart. I travel a lot to Stuttgart there is better hotels at a better price available.
"rooms on higher floors might be better"
The common areas of this hotel were very nice and parking was conveniently located in the basement. Staff were friendly and professional and the breakfast was top notch. The location of this hotel will probably be great once the construction across the street is complete. But for me the real minus was our room, which, though in theory located one floor above the ground floor, was still directly at street level due to the way the street inclined up on that side of the hotel. This means that we had to keep the curtains drawn tight or feel like shop mannequins on display for all wandering or driving by to see. My suggestion would be to request a room on a higher floor if you are going to stay here.
