We stayed for a long weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We got picked up and dropped off to the airport by the hotel Mercedes, which was lovely. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are large, with under floor heating in the marble bathrooms. The very comfy bed was enormous and we had a well stocked minibar. Breakfasts were lovely with every eventuality covered, even sparkling wine and smoked salmon as standard. I loved the very crispy bacon with the lightly scrambled eggs, and the apple pastries were delicious. It was a little further out of town but we knew that before we booked, so we were prepared for the numerous taxi journeys. We did venture onto the subway once which was incredibly cheap and very quick. We had a fantastic stay and all the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to go back soon.
"What a fabulous hotel! "
We went to Prague for a long weekend and stayed in this wonderful hotel. It involved a bus and metro to get there from the airport, if travelling by public transport, which was very easy to use and quick. The hotel looks lovely and inviting and the staff were very helpful and attentive. We stayed in an executive room which was very spacious with great views and there were small additional touches like turning down the bed clothes in the evening. The breakfasts were in the lovely dining room, had lots of choice and eggs were freshly made to order if requested. The spa facilities were also lovely, with a whirlpool, steam and sauna and of course a whole range of spa products was available. The art work throughout the hotel was an added bonus. Although about 20 mins walk from the some of the many main sights, the tram and metro systems were very easy to use and there were plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. All in all, a super find and we would definitely return.
"Beautiful, stylish hotel"
Yes, it's 2 km out of the very centre of Prague but that just makes this hidden gem more appealing as it's off the tourist track. Appointed to a very high standard we stayed in a lovely Atelier Suite and enjoyed all the hotel's very plush facilities and Spa. The restaurant is superb and we had a very romantic Sunday evening meal, attended to by Kristyna who was both charming and discreet. The food was out of this world delicious and a reasonably priced Amarone della Valpolicella was the perfect accompaniment. The bar and Library were really nice places to chill after a day out in the city centre and Moustafa gave particularly excellent service. All staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and we are already planning a return visit later in the year. Nick & Iva
Just back in Ireland having spent the Weekend in Le Palais Art Hotel Prague, Totally well worth the visit to such a beautiful Historical City,Lots to do and see. Hotel very nicely located in the City Centre Surprisingly very quiet bearing in mind its location. The Hotel is beautifully decorated to the highest standard, Room was nice clean and spacious as was the Bathroom. Breakfast is buffet type with lots of choices and service to match, The reception is the first interaction you will have with Staff who were always Professional and willing to help with information etc etc. My wife and I did go for the Spa Treatment and it was very good I would certainly stay at Le Palais Art again if I return.
"Comfortable boutique hotel"
This is a lovely hotel in the Vinohrady district (originally a place for vineyards, which is what “Vinohrady” means, anyway). It is about 25 minute walk from the Old Town. This is an affluent and beautiful district, with Art Deco houses, trees and parks overlooking either the centre or other parts of the city. It is also very popular among expats and young professionals. We stayed in this hotel over the New Year period. The hotel was very busy, especially during breakfast when there were not enough tables. Guests sometimes had to wait for a table, or be seated in the cigar room, which still had cigar smoke lingering in the air from the night before. Breakfast itself was just fine - the usual hotel breakfast selection that is not going to insult you but also not going to wow you. I was missing an omelette or pancakes made to order or something different. We stayed in a suite on the top floor. The room was reasonably spacious, well appointed, the random photos of Prague were slightly too random, but the bed was large and incredibly comfortable, which to me was the highlight of this hotel. Due to an error (we made) while reserving, the hotel thought we were staying with a child. When we arrived one of the beds had special cartoon bedlinen and a kiddie bathrobe, which was very sweet. Overall service standards (outside the breakfast room) seemed to be pretty high, very professional but also friendly and not at all stuffy. The service was prompt, very friendly and helpful, which in Prague is not that usual. We didn't find time during our stay to visit the spa, we managed to visit the gym, which is.... It is a good and comfortable hotel, but has it wow me to the extant of staying there again, sadly not. I think I would rather pay little bit extra to stay somewhere more central.
