Le Richemond is ideally located in the heart of the city, a few minutes walk from the main train station and 15 minutes by car from the International Airport. Just over the bridge, on the rive gauche, guests can discover the old city and the Cathedral Saint-Pierre, the museums district and the luxury boutiques of the Rue du Rhône.
"Outstanding taste & service"
We had tea & deserts here on Jan 1st. The flavours, taste and presentation were perfect and so was service. I'll focus on the latter in this review. We ordered a tarte aux pommes for my daughter and a moelleux au chocolat for my spouse. Only a tea for me. But I must have had that look in my eyes which said: I will finish my daughter's cake. Without asking, the tart came already split in two, on separate plates, everything wonderfully presented so I could also have a taste. How many times, in so many other places did we ask/beg waiters to split a portion in two, only to be told off with various ridiculous excuses (the kitchen cannot accommodate special desires, chef has no time, etc). Here it happened naturally, discretely effortlessly. Such little gestures make a place great. Now, the deserts themselves: the apple tart was lightly heated as it should be, with caramel ice cream. The moelleux, well, perfectly moelleux on the inside. The Geneva Richemont lives up to the Dorchester prestige and fame.
"Great business hotel... fantastic service"
I visited Le Richemond for 4 nights for business last week. The service was impeccable from the whole team, particularly the breakfast Restaurant Manager. Each day he was so personable and professional and couldn't have been more helpful. I stayed in an Executive Room on the 6th floor, which was a good size with great housekeeping. Room service was swift and the choice and food were both excellent. The hotel is in a perfect location and within walking distance to the main shops and offices. Thanks again Le Richemond! I look forward to staying again.
"Simply the best!"
My wife and I stayed here for two nights for our annual visit to Geneva. As soon as we arrived it was obvious this is a great hotel. The doormen/porters welcomed us and took our bags which, despite my wife imagining that we might never see them again, later appeared by magic in our room. The room was fabulous with superb fittings and a stunning marble bathroom. However, even though the room was perfect, quiet and warm it was the staff who really made our stay so perfect. Everyone appeared to be out to make our stay as easy and pleasant as possible. Reception, bar staff, room service, etc were all excellent, Everything was done with a smile and with enthusiasm. Not something that happens too often in hotels nowadays. Yes, it is expensive but the value for money far outweighs many cheaper hotels we have stayed in. The location is also ideal overlooking the lake and being a few minutes walk from the Pont de Mt Blanc and all the shops and restaurants. All in all a great place to stay.
One of my favorite hotels so far. Impeccable customer service, attentive and friendly staff, bed was big and comfortable . Delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner. I would like to give a shoutout to Lamine who attended us with a lot of grace during breakfast and went out of his way to make us happy. He asked the kitchen to prepare apple purée for my baby boy and was professional and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.
Right next to the Geneva Lake! I go to Geneva on work very often and this hotel is excellent. Rooms are vet well maintained and the bar downstairs is very good. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Highly Recommend!
