Le Richemond is ideally located in the heart of the city, a few minutes walk from the main train station and 15 minutes by car from the International Airport. Just over the bridge, on the rive gauche, guests can discover the old city and the Cathedral Saint-Pierre, the museums district and the luxury boutiques of the Rue du Rhône.
"Delightful Experience! "
Amazing hotel and staff; great location. We would visit again! Walking distance from lots - centrally located. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Our bathroom in our room was extremely nice with lots of amenities.
"Overall a good experience"
Stayed in Le Richemond again on this trip and overall it is a solid, service oriented, old worldly hotel in a positive way. While the decor and ambiance doesn't immediately feel like it, it is still functional and effective, and the service orientation makes it a highly valued experience in the end. Room sizes are in general good vs. some of the other high end Geneva hotels. Amenities and service are generally excellent. Just when you run into smaller challenges in such an atmosphere, sometimes is a mismatch, like having to wait at reception long because they only had one person helping guests check in/out and there were problems with customer's cards etc. Still I would have at the top of my list for business visits.
"Not for a US Traveler! Staff is Rude!"
This hotel was recommended by the American Express Travel. We found the rooms very small. The staff was extremely rude. The hotel itself is very nice but you have to have the right room to see Lake Geneva. We have been to Geneva several times and if you are going there and plan to spend money for a Great Hotel I most highly recommend the Hotel d'Angleterre
"Perfect location, lakeviews and terrific service!"
Get a lake view junior suite and you won't regret it! If you're a diamond club member, you are sure to receive a wonderful and customized experience at this Dorchester Collection gem located right by Lake Geneva and offers lovely views of Jet D'Eau. Le Richemond has a pristine old world charm to it. We stayed here over Christmas weekend on our way to Chamonix and really enjoyed our time. Short walk to the lake and the heart of old town with plenty of sightseeing and dining options nearby (recommend Bayview by Michel Roth at Hotel President Wilson next door) We will definitely be back!
"Excellent rooms but reception and bar don't reflect the rest of the hotel"
This is an excellent hotel with great sized rooms and great in room facilities. It is in a great location and very convenient. The only downside is the entrance lobby and the bar. The reception desk is sparse and not particularly welcoming. The bar is small and noisy. The breakfast/lobby lounge spills out into the entrance. For this standard of hotel I would expect more.
