Le Richemond is ideally located in the heart of the city, a few minutes walk from the main train station and 15 minutes by car from the International Airport. Just over the bridge, on the rive gauche, guests can discover the old city and the Cathedral Saint-Pierre, the museums district and the luxury boutiques of the Rue du Rhône.
A top class hotel delivering top class service. Professional, discrete, welcoming.....if I am in Geneva again I will definitely stay here. We ate in the bar and the standard and presentation of the food was all we could wish for. Check in and concierge service impeccable.
"Excellent hotel, could be better in the security issue"
I was in this luxury hotel for more than 1 week in the late June 2016 with my wife. This property offered a discount policy of "3 Nights for the Price of 2" at that time It is a great hotel with considerating service and excellent location. Its location is perfect, just in front of Lake Geneva and the famous Water Fountain; you can walk along the Lake shore during the evening or go through the bridge to the old town and shopping area in 10 minutes at the other side of the lake. Train/Bus Station is in another orientation in 10 minute walk. There are also a lot of small but lovely restaurants around this area, one area to avoid though is the red light district. The fellow is also fascinating; from the welcome drink in the bar to the kind receptionists and gentleman with classical tuxedo coat in the concierge. It is not a big hotel, but it is filled with happiness and kindness for all guests Its room is relatively big; their bathroom, with white marble and mirrors around composed a transparent and infinitive space sensation when you stay inside it. Very good water pressure for shower, with two injection at the same time weaving together to cover your whole body Housekeeping is excellent too, prompt service with impeccable quality. However, I do have some points like to raise, First, the web TV is not working at all; I tried the keyboard for 2 days and make sure I hit every key before I call the maintenance to ask how to use it. The answer he told me is simple, "it does not work, it never works". My point is if you put it in the TV menu, then it should be working, considering how great you are in all other aspects Second point is about the security of customers' property in the room, I lost my wallet in Mon, June 27 afternoon after I use my credit card in the hotel room around 5:30pm. And it disappeared after that due to unknown situations. I did not notice it at all until I could not find my credit card for dinner in a nearby restaurant. There are two most probable situations; maybe I was pick-pocketed on my way to dinner, or I just left it in the room. I went back to hotel, could not find it everywhere and went to front desk to report this issue at Mon night, asking helps to check if housekeeping see it somewhere and somehow since there is an evening house service when we were out for dinner as usual. It turned out that nobody respond to me about this issue at all during my next 6 days' stay. That was quite disappointing to me really!!! I was hoping every day, somebody will tell me it is found somewhere or just any reply from the front desk will do. In the last two night before check out, I did go to concierge, ask Jonathan some legal issue if I need to report to local police etc. Anyway, finally, I checked out on Sun, July the 3rd without all my US IDs, cash of various currencies, 15-20 credit cards and some personal commemorative things. Well, as you can see, It is not a small wallet at all. I sincerely suggest, hotel like this should have a standard operating procedures for this subtle situation to protect customers in this disastrous incident officially. In one way, we really love this hotel, but in another way we do not what might happen if we do any strong question/challenge on this issue against the hotel. After all, we do not want to ruin our stay in Geneva. Hotel need to offer a SOP mechanism that customers can trust, follow and rely on in a remote country with one's families all together. To me, I was in a mess but did not get any systematic helps from this gorgeous hotel. It's been almost two and half months now, I still determine to write it out, hoping this won't happen to any customer in the future in this terrific hotel or even the whole Dorchester Collection hotels Will I come back to this hotel again' Yes, I think so, this is one of the best hotel I ever had in my 56 year life so far.

excellent locatoin fast check in and check out processing; clean well furnished room; very close to Geneva Lake; major hotels, good coffees and resturants; also not far from the main shopping areas. I will use the hotel again next time I visit Geneva

The attention and help are incredible. I love the rooms, they are so cosy and everything is near by. The staff is super understanding and helpful. Their marble bathrooms are divine and the spa is a most go!

Our stay at the hotel was exceptional all the staff were fantastic and we especially enjoyed our large room and overall experience at Le Richemond. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and would like to thank them for such a memorable stay.
