"Formula One, this was the best!"
My family and I arrived early Wednesday morning to a wonderful hotel with exceptional staff! As my Mother is disabled, I was appreciative of the extra care provided upon check in by the manager and the Le Meridien staff. We had a woman who cleaned our room and made sure to check on us daily to ensure all of our toiletries were sufficient. The concierge helped out with all of our questions on nearby shopping and mapped out locations for us. The hotel security at night were very helpful and ensured that we had a fun, safe experience at their club. We will definitely return to the hotel on future trips to Abu Dhabi. Jody Berry
We stayed for one night , in fact we got an upgrade. The staffs were really courteous , the break fast spread was awesome .Would highly recommend this place. We enjoyed our stay. Will definitely come back to stay.
"A superb hotel"
This is an excellent hotel with a great feel and design. Congratulations to the hotel for having such a beautiful lobby and dining area Staff were fabulous in the restaurant looking after me all the time Room was of a high standard BUT insufficient plugs in the room and for some reason my room had two plugs side by side and I could not use them at the same time as they were too close to each other. There was a kettle plug on the main writing table but then there was no extra plug for my laptop. I had to move the kettle plug to another plug but then I could not use the adjacent plug for my hair dryer - Madness! I was looking forward to sit by the pool (which was lovely) and get some sun but unfortunately the hotel is surrounded by such high buildings, one does not see the sun due to so much shade all day. For the sun I got, I had to keep moving my sun lounger from place to place I would not stay at this hotel again because of the pool situation which is such a shame as the hotel is one of the best I have stayed in!
"Good Facilities and great staff"
I had stayed in this hotel in the past and this was my third trip there. Staff are very helpful and had no problem. They have few restaurants in house. Cafe Plamer is where breakfast is served, which was very good and in night it turns into a buffet restaurant. Try to get a room in higher floor and if you can get a sea facing that would be amazing.
I seriously wish i did not have to give this hotel even 1 star, but I do so here goes.. The customer service in this hotel is just awful, and the worse, the staff and the management just don’t seem to care. There is any employee his name is Thirtha Adhikari has the worst attitude I’ve ever seen in my life, i have no idea how do a 5 star hotel hire him, while talking to him he was very rude and starts raising his voice and talking rudely, and when I told him I will inform the management about you, he just simply said i don’t care here is my name and take a picture of me if you wish I don’t care! So I’m not really sure is it his mistake that he works in a 5 start hotel, or it’s just a poor leadership. After that I asked for my car, and of course the hotel will charge you AED 40 for just parking your car , my car came and it was scratched from the side . i asked to meet senior employee so ha can sort out the issue, listen to this funny story while waiting they sent 2 employees standing in front of my car thinking i will run away without paying the AED 40. However what we spent inside the hotel is way more than the 40. Security and duty manager came i guess and they told me they will check the CCTV, and I was sure they will not be able to finds out what happened to my car, he came back telling me that it wasn’t clear and they could find anything, thinking I’m stupid and I don’t know the hotel procedure as used to work in hotels for 12 years. They only care about their AED 40! Come on people this is 2016, we are in Abu Dhabi, an amazing city where the city is trying to make everyone happy but seriously you are letting your guests down. I’m not writing this email for compensation or an automatic reply, this is for you and for all people to know what happened and how the hotel cares about the AED 40 not the guests. Imagine what was the senior employee suggestion' He told to call the police! Rather than sorting out the issue internally Good luck and I guess this hotel needs to hire employees who has attitude! This incident happened last week.
