"Overall good stay, nothing special."
Our over all stay was good. We got a great deal through priceline so for the value it was good. We had a king size bed with a really nice bathroom and an amazing shower. The hotel is right across the street from the Palais des Congrès. We visited Montreal in February so the weather was pretty cold. It was convienient staying across the street from the Palais des Congrès, there is an underground path that takes you all the way to Eaton Centre and we did some shopping along St.Catherines. Most things close very early in old montreal so depending on the reason for the visit, I would prolly choose to stay else where. Preferably one that has many restaurants around the hotel that are open late. The purpose of our visit was to get away, relax and to check out Igloofest (an outdoor electronic dance music festival) that takes place at the old port of Montreal. The cost of parking at the hotel is approx $25 a day. Still my favorite hotels that I've stayed at in Montreal are Le Germain and Le Place d'Armes. "Excellent hotel in Old Montreal"
I stayed here this past weekend to celebrate my birthday and it was wonderful from beginning to end. The rooms are beautiful with the highlight being the extremely comfortable beds with super soft linens. The location is also phenomenal, we were able to walk to all the best spots in Old Montreal to eat and to Bota Bota spa. Thank you again to Tiffany at the Westin for making our stay so special and for the great hospitality!
"Kids friendly hotel"
The location is perfect, near most of the attractions. The kids had a blast playing in the swimming pool. I recommend it for families with little children. The staff are so friendly and the hotel in general clean and safe.
We have stayed in Montreal many times but never before at this property. The best feature was the room layout - very spacious suite which was great for our family of four. The downside was the fact that, despite the hotel not being overly busy, we were put in a room with a window facing a brick wall. The valet/bellman team was excellent but the rest of the staff were average and didn't seem overly motivated to make any extra effort. Pool and gym were nice. The pool was small and very crowded, so we didn't use it. The gym had everything we needed and wanted and wasn't overly busy, which was a plus. I probably wouldn't stay here again in comparison to our other Montreal options.
"Perfect location, fabulous touches"
We booked the Westin very last minute and are so glad we did. After a hectic day, the room was a welcome retreat--from the soothing spa music and lavender aromatherapy on offer, to the amazing beds and stellar fitness/pool facilites. An absolute delight to stay here and will do so again.
