"Good Place to Stay in Tel Aviv"
I stayed here on business during the first week of January. I have visited Tel Aviv previously and stayed at other hotels. To be perfectly candid, I found the hospitality at those other hotels to be lacking. I am happy to say that things are different at this hotel. When I checked into this hotel in the early evening, the front desk staff offered my colleague and me soft pretzels and beer. I have been offered a welcome drink at other hotels, but I have never seen a hotel offer beer and pretzels. I don't drink; so, the offer was lost on me, but their offer set the tone for the rest of the stay. The front desk staff was very nice and welcoming. One thing I like about this hotel is the size of the room. I reserved a very basic room, nothing fancy, but it had a good size. The internet access was mostly reliable, and the connection speed was good. I was allowed to conduct my work at the desk in the room, including accessing our network in the US. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was well appointed. The shower had plenty of water pressure and hot water. The thermostat in the room was easy to use. This time of year, it can be warm in the day but cool at night. The room temperature was easy to control. Breakfast in the morning was excellent. It was mostly a traditional Israeli style breakfast with some influence from the US and Europe. They had an excellent coffee bar that served American style coffee as well as espresso drinks. They also staffed an egg station where I could get eggs to order. Since this is Israel, they ran the kitchen as if it were kosher. I do not know if they have an actual kosher certificate, but my point is that they will not serve meat at breakfast because they serve milk and cheese (no meat and dairy together). The Israeli style salads and Middle Eastern spreads like hummus and egg plant are delicious. It was a very good selection. Most things were very good, but there were a few negatives. Before going further, I would like to say that the hotel contacted me after my visit to get my opinion of their hotel. I gave them the positives and negatives, and a person from the hotel contacted me directly to apologize for the negatives. I just want to say that I not only appreciate the contact, but I would also like to say that the negatives are relatively small compared to the positives. The negatives: 1) the shower selector in the bathroom was stuck. I had to turn off the shower and use a towel to move the selector. My guess is that minerals in the water are causing the selector to stick, but it should not be so difficult; 2) as great as the breakfast was, the staff at breakfast was not really attentive. There is no area where I could simply refill my own coffee. I had to have them do it. This is fine, but if the person serving people is not paying attention, it can make for a frustrating experience. I finally got up and ordered directly from the guy at the coffee bar. On this same note, the egg station was not staffed all the time during breakfast. I had to get someone's attention and make my request for eggs. Those who are in a bit of a hurry will need to wait; 3) there was a water leak in the hallway, and the water ran under my door into my room. To the hotel's credit, they began to repair this issue as soon as I reported it; 4) in the middle of the night (I was still on US time), the internet service went down for about two hours. I know it was not just a problem with my computer because my colleague mentioned at breakfast that he had the same issue. Those on European or Middle Eastern time probably would not notice because it was the middle of the night, but I noticed because I was awake; 5) when I checked out, their computers were down. I did not get a copy of my bill, which I need in order to claim reimbursement from my company. I gave the front desk staff my e-mail address so that they could e-mail me my bill once the system was up and running, but they did not e-mail my bill to me. It was not until I responded to their survey a few days later that someone sent me a copy of my bill along with an apology. As I said above, these negatives were a bit of a nuisance, but they were rather small compared to the positives. Not only was the staff friendly and the hotel comfortable, but the rate was actually quite affordable. I expect to return to Tel Aviv on business again in the future. When I do, I want to stay at this hotel again. It was a good experience.

"Great value for money"
We spent two nights at Leonardo Boutique hotel while in Tel Aviv. The rooms are clean, with a trendy, Art Deco style design. Large, comfortable bed. Breakfast was notably rich and varied, one of the best we've had in a 4 stars hotel. The staff was nice and helpful. We arrived early, before the check-in time, and they invited us to take advantage of the business lounge, a warm and confy space, where you can work or just relax, enjoying the views and having some snacks and refreshments. Free, good Wifi throughout the hotel. The hotel is situated in a lively area with many restaurants and cafes. A nice touch is the free transfer towards the beach area.
"Conveniently located pleasant hotel"
I had to be in the area of Ramat Hachayal where the hotel is located. The staff were excellent and helpful. The room was nice though if shared with another person would have been a bit crowded. Excellent business lounge open from morning until 10:30 PM. No parking in the hotel but an enormous municipal parking area right behind.
