"Good start but....."
Nice greeting on arrival, and helpful staff on the desk. This is about as far as the compliments go. Breakfast provides a huge buffet but staff are relatively unfriendly. My room was extremely dated with two small twin beds and very thin duvets. The TV is built into a cabinet which makes changing channels using a remote control almost impossible. The sofa was extremely uncomfortable. The leatherette cushions kept moving and made it impossible to sit on for any time. The shower screens ineffective so the bathroom floor was flooded. There was no plug in the sink and this may be a cultural thing that I'm not aware of, The worst experience was staying in to have dinner as the weather was awful with heavy rain and thunderstorms. It was Valentine's Day, but the only restaurant that was open was the Tapas bar off the reception. I asked what they had or what they could do for vegan food, but was met with indifference from two members of staff. The young male waiter was slightly more helpful, but even he could not improve the quality of the food that was delivered to me. The salad I had was dry and boring. The pasta was not completely cooked and the sauce dreadful. How difficult is it any capable chef to make a tomato sauce with pasta' Whoever was cooking had no idea how to do this. The bread was supposed to be focaccia, but bore no resemblance to that but rather was a brown lump which was overcooked on the outside and still cold on the inside. I asked for olive oil to go with the bread as both sauces had cheese in them which as a vegan I do not eat. The oil I was given tasted like it been scooped out a deep fat fryer, it tasted rancid and of fried food. I asked the male waiter if he could replace this with olive oil and balsamic vinegar and what I got was more of the same disgusting cooking oil with a splash of balsamic vinegar in it. I think the total cost for the salad, pasta and bread plus a bottle of fizzy mineral water was the equivalent of about £35. Suffice to say I will not be eating here again. The hotel has an un-cared for and and loved feeling about it which seems to pervade the attitude of the staff. A very disappointing experience.
"Professional and friendly crew"
My mother stayed in the hotel for a week while her house was being renovated. Her medical condition requires special consideration (e.g. dietary needs). Entire crew (receptionists, porters, security, kitchen, etc.) was very attentive and did their best to keep her healthy and happy during her stay.
"Excellent Hotel & Service"
Leonardo City Tower Hotel is very good to stay there and the staff of the hotel are very helpful and their services are too good. Business Lounge Manager Ofra and her colligue Levin both are taking very much care of their customer . We had a great experience with them, thank you them for their services . "Average hotel, high prices "
I spent 10 days at Leonardo City Tower Hotel. Located in diamond business area in Ramat Gan, close to Tel Aviv which is a plus. 1st room I stayed had a strong smoke odor so I asked for a change. They changed it 1 day after since the hotel was full. The 2nd room was OK but then the internet connection got lots of issues and disconnected oftenly. I called my family (via internet) at a spot where is next to the room door, which was the only spot for sustainable internet. Generally staff is kind but the service at the lobby cafe is very bad. I would not stay at this hotel again.
The hotels location is quite good. But instead of it was midnight, there were really much noise in the corridor. It was impossible for me to sleep. For me this hotel on average. The speed of wifi was good.
