Brilliant stay, hotel was plush and comfy and gave off a great impression as soon as you walked in! The room's are lovely, we were allocated a disability room so there was an open shower in the bathroom but this wasn't a problem, the room was still lovely! Cleaned daily, and was secure and safe. Room's were a little warm but it was sub-minus outside so we fully appreciated it, although we slept with the window open (which wasn't a problem, very quiet). Didn't have breakfast, but the bar downstairs was lively and the staff were attentive, the happy hour is definitely worth it too! All in all made our stay amazing, and with the location perks too (all trams/buses go past, we never waited longer than 5 mins to get anywhere), could not recommend anymore!!
Sooo I did a lot of research on this hotel before I booked. My boyfriend picked me up from Schönefeld Airport and it was about 3 stops on the RE train which took 20 minutes. The walk from Alexanderplatz station to the hotel is 10-15 minutes which was totally fine. When we got to the hotel it was like 3:30pm and our room wasn't ready so they directed us to the bar for some free drinks. Check-in was speedy no issues, we asked for a late check out which they said was unavailable (we asked different staff the next day and it was magically available to us then). We booked a Junior Suite, I thought it would be bigger than what we stayed in but it was fine and spacious enough. I think the hotel slyly use "Deluxe Triple Room" and "Junior Suite" interchangeably because if you go through the pics on their website and elsewhere you'll notice they're basically exactly the same. We even checked the sofa to see if it opens up into a bed and it does so erm yeah lol! (I'm picky like that). I actually went back to tell them they gave us a deluxe room instead and they said "Nope it's definitely a Junior Suite". Our rooms had the usual tea/coffee machine, robes, slippers and little cosmetics in the bathroom. Massive queen bed. We didn't eat at the hotel as it's right next to Alexanderplatz so we wanted to explore. Oh and the church bells... My God the bells!!! I had read about them being rung super early, I even requested to be away from them beforehand but unfortunately we were right opposite. On the first night they rang around 6am and me and my boyfriend couldn't stop laughing as this is what the majority of reviews had complained about. Overall it's a good hotel. Close enough to Alexanderplatz, the trains and trams. I would definitely come back.
"Cozy and very nice hotel"
Nice, cozy hotel with good location. Room was spacious, quiet, clean and very cozy. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Gym was great and beds just perfect. It takes about 10 minutes to walk Alexanderplatz, so location was just great for us.
"Excellent customer service"
Stayed here with my husband for 6 nights where i summarize my stay below: 1- Great location , it is 2 subway stops away from Alexanderplatz ( which is the most common shopping area) 2- Great customer service: all you ask for is done immediately ( I asked for room decoration due to our wedding anniversary, they were offered free of charge) 3- Spacious hotel and rooms where you have all the facilities available like the hotel concierge, lounge with great food and music with reasonable prices and varied breakfast 4-Generous loyalty program offering immediate discount on room reservation and Dine in food. I simply loved it!! and would definitely search for any Leonardo Hotel in my next vacation!
"Very good hotel and location"
The hotel is clean and comfertable. The team is very nice. Good breakfast. The room was a bit small but comfy. The hotel located 7 min walk from Alexanderplatz and a walk distance from everything. The is an M station across the road and a bus station taking you all the way to west Berlin.
