Very nice hotel, a little expensive for the functions provided and a little far from the main attractions. Did not have breakfast so unable to comment. Staff were generally helpful and checkout was fairly painful, although upon leaving bags with them at checkout they lost out ticket and I had to use my passport to prove the bag was mine.
Perfect location, with transport links a 2 min walk away or a 10 min walk into Alexanderplatz, the staff were so friendly. Booked as a couple for a few nights get away was not expecting it to be as posh as it was due to the cheap price! A nice man at the desk gave us an upgrade on rooms as well! Perfect if you go at Christmas and are interested in the markets as Alexanderplatz has a great market. Breakfast was lovely with a good variety, 2 for 1 cocktails at the bar was the highlight of the trip! Also the staff at the desk were so helpful with transport links and you could also purchase travel tickets from them! Would defiantly go back!
"Good location and excellent breakfast"
We had two rooms for 2+3 family. One was standard and the other one bit larger with king size bed. Additional bed from sofa was available, but that was uncomfortable. The room was neat and fine. There was a small fridge, but not minibar. An odd thing was a bathroom without a door, a toilet had one, though. Location was good. It was peaceful but missing services, like restaurants nearby. There was some in five minutes walking distance, also a small grocery. There was a tram route next to the hotel (100m). Alexander platz was three stops from the hotel
"Was on the main tram route to town centre - very convenient and sells travel passes."
Room was enormous and well appointed but person showering in the bath was visible from the bed. (No door to bathroom space). Outstanding variety of options at breakfast. The travel advisor was exceptionally helpful in selling Berlin passes and arranging a meal on the roof of the Reichstag at short notice.
We stayed at this hotel and was very impressed from the first second we walked in. The greeting was very friendly, all information asked at the reception were accurate and very handy. Ask for a city map and ask them to mark down the best places to see in Berlin. Use the public transport all day passes will get you on the trains, trams and buses for about 7 euros. The markets are everywhere and the Germans really know how to celebrate Christmas. We got on the gluwein to warm up which it literally does instantly. Great art and craft shops from tree decorations to amazing Christmas landscape settings. Gonna miss not going this year but 2017 is a definite must.
