"Very nice place to stay "
I've stayed there during a business trip. Excellent service and very professional staff. The rooms are with high quality and very modern. The both restaurant and the bar are with very large choices of menus. The final touch of course for those who like cigars, Zino Platinum cigar lounge with a large choice of Davidoff variations.. I recommend this place for business as well as private/ well located..
"Very nice hotel"
Nice hotel. Friendly staff, nice rooms, very clean and professional. It is within walking distance to where I was visiting. I was in Munich for business. The Leonardo Royal is also within walking distance to Olympia park, which I visited, and very close to a train station - access to all of Munich.
"Very good hotel"
Leonardo is very good 4 star hotel. Located a bit out of the central, but still easily achieved thru subway. Rooms are spaceous and tidy. Breakfast is excellent with a lot of choices, certainly worth it. If you like outdoors, olympic park is in the region so a lot of places to run etc. Besides hotel restaurant, not many restaurants close by, but hotel serves very large steaks, so you wont be hungry. I would go here again when in Munich.
"Great place, should be a 5-star instead of 4."
We needed to stay in Munich the last night in Europe to catch a plane to the US the next day. Everything seemed to be booked because this was during Octoberfest time but the Leonardo still had a room for us. We reserved this months in advance. The hotel was easy to find from the subway station...just a half a block's walk. Rooms were spotless, very modern decor, very attractive. Walk in showers with hand held and overhead showerheads. Our room looked out into a courtyard and was very quiet. The best part however was the breakfast. We have stayed in many places in our travels but had never been offered a breakfast quite like this. There were so many choices, cold and warm, fresh and cooked, baked and cooked to order. It was almost overwhelming. The staff was very friendly. We also loved exploring the business meeting room areas which have pictures of Olympic Games from the past. We walked across the street to visit the Olympic Park, which is only about a mile from the hotel. It was raining and before the park itself opened for the day but we enjoyed just looking at it from the outside.
It was very close to the city center - across the street from a nice park. The hotel was very clean and the people who worked there were very nice. Breakfast was buffet style and there was a lot to choose from.
