"Luxury and privacy a short walk from Rodeo Drive"
The Viceroy L'Ermitage is a sophisticated oasis in Beverly Hills. Nestled on a residential street, you can enjoy the views from the rooftop pool or a quiet meal in the onsite restaurant. The shopping and people watching of Rodeo Drive is only a pleasant 10 minute walk away. The staff is well trained, polite and efficient. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. The beds are excellent. Most (all ') rooms have a private balcony. From ours we could see the Hollywood sign in the distance. Drivers are available as a complimentary service to hotel guests for locations within a 2 mile radius of the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel for its location, amenities and customer service.
"Terrific Boutique Hotel in Beverly Hills"
My wife and I just spent five wonderful days at Viceroy L'Ermitage---our fifth or sixth stay during the last two years. The rooms are spacious and extremely well appointed. I prefer the top 2-3 floors at the back of the hotel because of the tremendous views of the Hollywood Hills. The staff is extremely friendly and accomodated all our needs and special requests. The atmoshpere is very low key but luxurious and the hotel is well located in a quieter residential section of Beverly Hills on Burton Way--within walking distance of restaurants in West Hollywood and Beverly Hills. If you need a hotel in West LA---this is it.
"Very comfortable hotel with great service close to design center"
Spacious room with good view, hard to believe I was in LA. Very large bathroom, well equipped with great products, comfortable bed. Nice restaurant and bar downstairs, I would stay here again, very convenient to the design area. The room was quiet considering it was so conveniently situated. There is a pool on the roof deck too.
"The suites are amazing!"
Stayed here for a week for work and going home to the amazing Viceroy suite, with balcony, separate sitting area, separate dressing area, huge bathtub and rooftop pool made the trip feel like a holiday. From the outside, it doesn't look impressive (same with lobby) but I would much rather have a nice room than a nice lobby. However, the hotel lobby bar is good too.
"Not worth the price...."
It was a pretty hotel but thats about it. We could here the a/c all night long it was hard to get a good nights sleep. Staff was polite but not friendly. Housekeeping was obtrusive to the point of rudeness. If the sign outside says do not disturb, why would you call every time to ask if the room needed cleaning' We had our phone light up with messages only to find out it was from housekeeping. Balcony is a joke...there is a balcony but you can only stand on it! Room service was good though. I'm sure there are better places to stay in Beverly Hills for $600/night.
