Lina Riad and Spa is ideally located in the heart of Andalusia, just two minutes walking from the famous utah hammam, and only a five minute walk from the waterfalls of Rass El Maa.
Very good property with a very nice hammam. One of the let down for me was the room. Booked the property based on review of stunning room with view. Got a completely boxed in room without any view. Otherwise a good experience. Not sure if I would visit again if I am provided same room.
"Well done Lina Ryad..."
Stayed for two nights in Lain as part of my visit to Chefchaouen. The Raid is in the middle of the old town with no car access. We had a room on the fifth level with fantastic views over the town, but beware there is no elevator in the Raid. The room was clean but was not properly sound proofed, you can hear the things around you but this to me added to the experience. Breakfast was served in the reception and was okay, service was friendly. We had dinner in their terrace, the view was nice along with the food. Was an enjoyable stay in Ryad Lina.
A first time visitor to the city of Chefchaouen will feel uneasy because a seemingly different kind of crowd. Lina Ryad gave me sense of safety with its security. We had a well-appointed, neat and clean room on the 3rd/f fronting the street giving us an almost aerial view of the blue city at dusk and at dawn. It also allowed us to hear the merchant sounds coming from the street below. The staff is very helpful and friendly. You'd have to holler for help from the inner court though because the place has no house phones. Choose room no. 3 and get to know who its the very special guest was.
"Perched on top of the hil"
We stayed at ryad lina, getting there at the end of a long and spectacularly beautiful drive from the coast. A very friendly welcome and were taken to the very top of the hotel to a cosy room with unbelievable views over this enchanting city. The breakfast was spot on and again friendly and helpful service. I would recommend this place to stay when visiting a city not to be missed on a trip to morocco.
"Amazing Ryad and Staff"
It was our first time in Morocco and we were there for 10 days. We stayed in Ryads in Rabat, Chefchaouen, Fez, Merzouga, Ait Bin Haddou & a hotel in Marrakesh. And I must say this was our absolute favourite from all of the ones we stayed in. We went in mid-January so it was still quite cold in Morocco. We had issues with all our Ryads in terms of heating, hot water, or service in general. Except for Lina Ryad. This ryad was amazing! It was warm; the heater worked really well and heated the rooms quickly. The room was absolutely gorgeous and spacious. The washroom was great, showers had nice hot water. You felt as if you were staying in a 4 star hotel in North America. What made it even better was the staff. Every single staff member was wonderful. Ibrahim greeted us during the day with Moroccan Tea and they brought our luggage up the flight of stairs and from outside the old medina. The food by Chef Aisha was amazing and we loved our breakfast, that was included in our stay. The staff who stood out the most was the night manager, Ashraf. His customer service and managing skills are excellent. And this is coming from someone who has been in the service industry for over 15+ years and has travelled a lot. I don’t normally write reviews but felt this hotel deserved it because of the exceptional service my friend and I received. We thought our rooms didn’t have wifi so came down to the lobby. It was a little cold but Ashraf brought wood to heat the lobby, also got us hot tea. He recommended places to see in Chefchaouen and also showed us the pool/spa area, as well as gave the wifi password for our room. He also showed us how to use the shower. He is very knowledgable and passionate about his job and the hotel and loves his country. I’d recommend anyone visiting Chefchaouen, to stay at this hotel and make sure you stay longer than a night. We wished we stayed longer. But we’ll definitely be back and will stay at this hotel.
