"Not getting the service I thought I would... Dissapointed."
We are actually GOING to the resort in another weeks time. We have stayed at the Live Aqua 3 times already; and it has been spectacular. They have always gone out of their way to make things unbelievable. For some reason they are not answering my emails in a timely manner & also are not incorporating our requests. With how much business we have given them, it was only fair to feel that asking for an upgrade might be something they would honor - only because they have done it in the past. However, it's disappointing that they wont honor the same things they have done for us in the past. We get there next week and I know the hotel is absolutely marvelous, drinks/food, atmosphere is just super! But something has happened to their customer service. The answering of emails. And not accommodating clients to their happiness. If it was my first time and asking for upgrades (complimentary) even I would accept a no. However, we are loyal clients; who choose to only give Live Aqua the business. It's sad that they really have made asking for things and hearing nos back just sad. Coming for an anniversary & really just down as it's been a week without email correspondence back and I have sent the same email twice. I don't want to say too much negative stuff about the hotel because the hotel is really wonderful. But I am just a little weary now about their service. With what I am getting right now - a week before going... It doesn't look good to me. I wish someone would take the time to answer their emails and really make loyal clients like us who have ONLY chosen Live Aqua a minute of their time. You would think a hotel would go out of their way to make you happy - because they know we will choose them again. Unfortunately, something is lacking there right now. As of now, I am still waiting to see if they will provide us with an upgrade to our room. I feel like I am at work negotiating prices and then waiting around for someone to email me back. This is just frustrating... I'm scared by my choice to choose Live Aqua.. Maybe the customer service has just changed''
"Wonderful Spa Resort"
We spent 5 days at Live Aqua, and will definitely be returning. Top shelf liquor, excellent food, superior service. The entire place smells amazing. We stayed on the concierge floor in an oceanfront king, and thought the room appointments and location were great. Highly recommend!
"Awesome vacation "
Live Aqua is the best. We haven't left and are already trying to figure out when to come back! Israel made our trip spectacular! He treated us like family, his knowledge and recommendations were right on point. The level of professionalism, graciousness, and service was out of this world! Germain at the pool was the greatest! He took wonderful care of us. Efram and JoseyMark at Egos were also wonderful, had our drinks ready every time. We have never had a better vacation. The entire staff were awesome! All of these guys-- Israel, Germain, Efram knew us by name and treated us with so much grace and friendliness, not found other places.
First time to Cancun!! Resort was amazing!! Service is impeccable!! Spa treatment was awesome!! Food was delicious!! Of course the drinks are excellent. Ale was the best server at the pool!! Can't wait to come back!!

We vacation 2 to 3 times a year, I have been to many all-inclusive Hotels in Cancun, Aruba, and the Caribbean. We have been to Cancun six times and have stayed a total of three all-inclusive hotels since about 2011. Last year, I wrote a review of Live Aqua after our third stay, and stated that the quality, especially Staff Service was not consistent, and actually thought about not coming back again. This year, we actually reserved hotel, but at the insistence of my wife, we decided to come back here and give Live Aqua another chance. Wow, are we glad we did! I don't know whether Live Aqua actually read all the reviews or not, but it seems like ALL of our concerns have been taken care of, and next year for our 25th Anniversary, we will definitely come again! First of all, after booking, David Martinez emailed us and offered us a free upgrade because this is our fourth visit there. Right before our visit, Dana Malave emailed us to introduce herself and told my wife that if we had any concern during our stay, we should specifically ask for her and she would take care of it. While we were there, on the third day, we were having lunch at Sieta, she came up and introduced herself to us in person and asked if we had any concerns and if we were happy......Wow, talk about service! After the trip, we received another email from her thanking us for choosing Live Aqua. Small things like this really make you feel special and welcome. On our first day, when we first entered our room, there was already a note address specifically to us; a bottle of champagne and a fruit dish waiting for us. The bed had rice art, saying "welcome". My wife loved it! We had rice art on our bed every day after it the room was turned over. The next day, we were greeted with Chocolate dipped strawberries and another bottle of champagne congratulating us on our 24th Anniversary. One of our biggest disappointment last year was the service inconsistency of the staff. Most were super nice , but some were not. This year however, as much as we search, we could not find one staff who did not look like they really enjoy working there! Everyone looked happy, and we felt very welcomed. At the beach, the staff would come every afternoon offering fresh coconut for us to drink. Overall, everyone there was super nice, and we felt very welcomed. One thing that was very special and impressed my wife was the fact that at almost every dinner, we were asked whether there was any special occasion we were celebrating. We were always greeted at dessert with something special from the chef or staff congratulating our anniversary. Overall, we enjoyed our trip so much that while we there, we were already planning our trip for next year. It was very sad to be leaving on the last day, because we enjoyed our stay so much. In writing this review, both my wife and I tried to remember if there was anything for constructive criticism, and we honestly cannot think of anything. Thank you, Live Aqua, and we can't wait to come back again next year. Your grade this year is a solid A+.
