"Wonderful place to stay"
Love the art, the food was incredible (both banquet and restaurant). The place is beautiful and staff are amazing. Excellent service throughout and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Had an incredible experience at the Ashburn, probably the best customer service I have ever experienced at a restaurant.
"Nice property within walking distance to convention center"
We stayed at this hotel for two nights while attending Walker Stalker at the Donald E Stephens convention center. The connecting hotel was sold out already so I tried to find something within walking distance. It was an easy and safe walk from the hotel to the convention center, if this is the reason you are staying. The hotel is very nice and up to date. It also has several restaurants nearby/attached. Parking was easy and was $26 per night with in and out privileges. We stayed on the top floor. The room was clean and large (king room). The bathroom looked newly renovated and had a nice shower (no tub). Pillows were soft. My husband said the bed was a bit hard and that it hurt his back, I was fine. Our biggest complaint was that there was no fridge to store any drinks or food, only a mini bar that you couldn't remove anything from. Also, the wifi did not work very well and we didn't even bother trying to connect after issues the first night (slow, kept disconnecting). Overall very nice hotel if you need a place to stay for the convention center.
"Modern, comfortable great for business - not ideal for familes"
I was here for 2 nights for a conference and enjoyed my stay. The rooms were very nice, very modern, spacious, comfortable and had good lighting. There was a safe in the room and it was in a dresser drawer which I liked for some reason. The blackout blinds are excellent here, which is a feature that is very important to me. I liked the bathroom amenities and the hairdryer was good too, with a concentrator which is not easy to find in a hotel hair dryer! My only caution is that if all the rooms are the same, it's not the best for families with children - the shower walls are glass and this eliminates the option of one person showering while another brushes their teeth or dries their hair unless everyone is comfortable with 360 degrees of naked. Bed was super comfy and the food was good as well. I didn't dine at the restaurant, just with the conference food, but it was good. The Starbucks in the lobby was lacking though. It's convenience store that sells Starbucks, not a full on Starbucks so keep that in mind. They have an airport shuttle which is nice and they also will drop off at the CTA station so you can head into downtown without much trouble. When you come back by train, go one stop further, back to the airport and then take the free shuttle back to the hotel and same some money that way. It's not a reasonable walk from the Rosemont station to the hotel with shopping parcels. Or even without really unless you really want that to be your exercise for the day. There is a huge mall right next door, so you may not even need to go to downtown, but for me, I had a few "must-do" stops that included the Lego store and American Girl, which are side-by-side in the Watertower Place downtown so heading into downtown was required. Would stay again for business - my room wasn't ready when I checked in. Storing my bag was super easy and no trouble at all. Would likely not stay for family - location not ideal for Chicago stay and the glass shower makes it not functional for my family.
"Very nice and clean! "
It was super clean and everything is easily accessible. Loved the walking distance to the mall and the convention center. I really enjoy how if there is any questions you can text them and they will respond almost immediately it's very convenient. Can't wait to stay again.
"Spring Break 2017"
My family and I chose this hotel because of its location to O'hare airport. We loved staying here. The staff at check in was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean, modern and elegant. The decor was tastefully done. My son and husband loved the TV, in the room, the picture was amazing. We actually loved the stay so much, that on our return trip we decided to stay another night, before making our way back home. There is a small coffee shop that served Starbucks coffee. The lobby had complimentary hot chocolate that my kids loved.
