"Great overnight stays"
United put us up there for the night as we missed a connection. Very comfortable hotel. Superbly decorated: modern yet convivial. I particularly noted the quality of the art on display in room and in common space. This sets this hotel apart. room are well appointed. Robe in my room is among the best I have seen in hotel. We had diner at the brasserie bar which was very pleasant. shuttle to terminal run on the 15. good staff at front desk. I will definitively put Loews back on my list.
"Very, very good place for a stop over"
We had a 23 hour lay over after returning from Japan, before we boarded our flight home. After checking a couple of travel web sites and reading the reviews we decided that the Loews Chicago O'Hare hotel would be our best choice. We chose wisely! From the phone call to the hotel requesting a pick up from the shuttle to the front desk it was five star. The lady who answered the phone was cheerful, helpful yet totally efficient. Our shuttle driver was helpful, friendly and very safe driving. The front desk gentleman that assisted us noticed that we were quite tired from the long flight and after asking a couple of questions to assist us, he found a room that was clean that we could retire to immediately. Since it was not quite 0900 am, well before usual check in time, we were very grateful to be able to clean up and take a jet lag nap. Our room was very clean, well appointed and maintained. The only thing that might be considered wrong was one of the curtains had been hastily repaired using a safety pin to secure it to the pull rod so it was slightly askew, not a major thing. The bed was very comfortable and our room was very quiet, even this close to the airport. After cleaning up and a few hours of sleep we awaited and proceeded to the lobby, where we ordered tea from the Starbucks there. The Starbucks also acts as a small convenience store with various items for sale that one might need. There is also a nice bar/restaurant attached to the opposite end of the lobby. We enjoyed a couple of drinks there before ordering a meal that was very good with very friendly service. The prices were well within line for appropriate restaurants in Chicago, as we had visited Downtown Chicago last Thanksgiving. There also other restaurant very close to the hotel, two just along side the driveway into the hotel. There is also a Fashion Outlet Mall behind the hotel just across a small parking lot. The hotel is close to the train going into the city also, if one wished to explore more while there. Overall an excellent choice for us.
"Gotta Love Those Beds"
I recently stayed at Loews for 2 nights and I have to say, I LOVE THOSE BEDS. I always sleep so well at Loews and it must be the topper and all those pillows. I also enjoy the cleanliness of the entire hotel and the professionalism of the staff. I like the reponse "It's my pleasure" from staff..
Wow! Such an amazing Hotel! Great friendly services from the front desk agents. Breakfast at the "Ashburn" was a delightful experience with kind staff members attending my special meal request. Star service took care of my concerns in a timely order. I love being greeted with handshakes & smiling faces from all staff members here. I would recommend this hotel to family & friends.
"Loews Chicago O'Hare"
The hotel is a nice, clean hotel. Stayed there to be close to O'Hare for an early morning flight. The hotel is within walking distance to the the Fashion Outlet mall. Breakfast at the Ashburn restaurant was very good and the service was great. There is a nice Mexican restaurant called Maria's a short walk from the hotel. Had a double room and the beds were small, not much larger than a twin. Would stay there again and definitely dine at Maria's.
