"Great Stay in Montreal!"
We had a great stay at Loews in Montreal. This was my second time in Montreal and we loved the location of Loews. So close to a lot of great shopping and restaurants. It was also a quick ride to the Old Port. The hotel is beautiful and the room was very clean. The staff was so gracious. We received an upgrade upon arrival as well! We came to Montreal as part of a large family ski trip. Everyone in our group of 13 loved the hotel and enjoyed our stay before heading over to the mountain.
The staff was the best! Celebrated a friend's birthday and they all took the time to sign a nice birthday card and sent goodies in the room. Guillaume, from the front desk, was the most helpful and informative. I didn't have to worry about where to go or what to do. He definitely made sure we were well taken care of. I'm definitely coming back.
"Three days in Montreal"
The Loews Vogue was far above my expectations. We were offered a wonderful upgrade upon arrival which was gretly appreciated. From a superb concierge to a staff that provided excellent service, I enjoyed every aspect of the hotel.
"Fantastic Boutique Hotel in Downtown Montreal"
Outstanding boutique hotel in downtown Montreal in the heart of the city. Every facet of this hotel is luxurious from the rooms, to the room service to the concierge. Value is fantastic too. There is nothing the hotel will not do to please the guest. Food excellent.
"Beautiful Hotel in Centre-ville, close to Centre Bell and Rue St.Catherines"
We booked a weekend getaway to Montreal with another couple. It's a great way to combat the winter blues, and I highly recommend this hotel as a place to do just that! The Loews is on Rue Montagne, almost at the corner of Rue St. Catherine. There was a bitter cold-snap on this particular weekend, but you can go underground for shopping, so that is great. You can walk for miles down there.. We were greeted warmly after a lengthy ride in from the airport. The entire city is torn up and under construction-this is no exaggeration. Once we arrived at the hotel we were close to restaurants, etc, so didn't have to worry about navigating the construction zones. Our room was on the 4th floor close to the elevators, facing Rue Montagne and the posh department store across the street. The windows are large with fabulous drapes which, when closed, offered blackout conditions for sleeping. It was quiet and dark, and the bed was great, so we slept amazingly well. The room was large, with a chaise at the foot of the bed, a large TV in the room, and a smaller one in the bathroom near the jacuzzi tub. We do not have a tub in our home, and I always say I don't miss it,..but I had a bath in the jacuzzi both mornings I stayed at the Loews! It was great. The rooms feel very luxurious, and are well appointed. The bar downstairs off the lobby (which is also very nicely done) is fun and busy, with a great wine and cocktail list, and beyond that is the dining room for breakfast and brunch, etc. We enjoyed a few drinks at the bar in the hotel both days we were there. We opted for In Room Service on our first morning, breakfast in bed - which was not the smartest thing,..since we probably would have enjoyed it more down in the dining room. The food arrived cold, and I remember thinking that room service is only good when you get a cold breakfast typically. It's impossible to keep food hot as it makes its way in an elevator. Our friends had brunch in the dining room and said it was delicious and hot! All in all we loved this hotel, and plan to stay there again next month.
