Loews Miami Beach Hotel is ideally located, in the heart of vibrant, cosmopolitan South Beach, with direct access to the beach and all the city has to offer.
This is a great choice for a hotel. Family friendly. The staff was wonderful...in every area! Food was great! Location was ideal. Walking distance to Lincoln.Comment of M. Crystal , United States the 2015-06-26
I have stayed at many hotels, some much more luxurious than this one but I have never received the level of customer service I experienced at Loews Miami Beach Hotel. Only one word is needed to express my stay...SUPERB...Loews should be proud of their employees, in all levels. Planning on making going back soon!!Comment of M. Yolanda , United States the 2015-05-21
Accommodations and location of hotel is fabulous. 5 minutes walk from Ocean Drive, Espanola Way and Lincoln Street open air Mall. Lack of choice in restaurant but plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby.Comment of L. Christine , United Kingdom the 2015-05-04

"Renovations only slightly problematic"
We didn't mind that there wasn't a lobby during our time there as we rarely spend time in a lobby. Hotel was fully occupied (there are still several floor being renovated) and there were not enough pool chairs. This is an ongoing issue at the hotel. the outside restaurant is under reno but you can order food and drinks from any of the many servers by the pool. Portions are huge, so a good value. Drinks come in 3 sizes - normal, huge and ridiculous. Beach loungers could use cushions, the ones next door were nicer. Our main issue was the fire alarm testing. Someone mistakenly set off the alarms at 8 AM on our floor (12). It was only supposed to be on a lower floor, and so no notice was given. But when it went off by mistake they should have announced it was only a test as I ran out into the hall concerned. I was once in a hotel that had a fire, so I don't take alarms lightly, Though why the independent testing company would be allowed to conduct any testing of alarms in a full =hotel at 8 AM is beyond me. I hope as the other floors get completed they rethink this so that the test them at a respectable hour, perhaps not earlier than 10 AM. Hot tub is also out of service.
"In construction but very nice"
The hotel is in the middle of doing renovations, but the hotel is in a great location, fabulous beds oh my gosh are they awesome and the pillows bedding too! :) we had a king size bed with city view on the 8th floor. The restaurant had gluten free breakfast pastries and pancakes which were awesome! The only thing a miss is a hotel bar, the one next door appears to be part of the hotel but it is not and only opens at 6 pm. It would be nice to check in at 3 or 4 pm put your bags down and go have a cocktail. :( Overall though it is a 4 out of 5 if the renovations were over it probably be a 5. Our guy who checked us in Fabian was awesome, his partner at the desk over wasn't so nice to friends of ours who were checking in at the same time...
"Cool Place to be"
I usually chose to stay in smaller hotels. But during my last trip to FL Last week I learned that some hotels like the Loews manage to make you feel great and cosy aswell. Service was impeccable, it felt like people actually like to work there and to be at your service.
"Perfect Location for my 40th birthday celebrations"
Room- situated in the smaller separate tower. We had a very limited sea view. My three friends and I shared a room with two queen sized beds, it also had a small sofa. Very comfortable beds and featured a beautiful bathroom. Hotel- the Loews is a beautiful Art Deco styled hotel and occupies an enviable position right on SoBe. The food is delicious, the staff friendly and the cocktails are fabulous. Pools- the main pool is large and has enough sun beds for everyone. we enjoyed many an hour chatting in the shallow end of the pool and admiring our beautiful well kept surroundings. Location- the Loews as I said is right on SoBe and a pathway leads straight to it. We were literally central to everything. Ocean drive was five minutes walk away and the other way you had the main strip with beautiful al fresco street dining. This hotel won't disappoint !
"Great stay right on Miami Beach"
We booked this hotel because it has access to Miami Beach. The beach is public but the Loews has umbrellas and cabañas only a short walk across the path onto the beach. The chairs and loungers are free, however You do need to pay for the umbrellas and cabañas. This is necessary for the steong sun. There is also food and drinks service to the beach from the hotel's restaurant for an extra cost. The installations are lovely and the remodelling is scheduled to end in November with an even nicer Lobby. We stayed in a room for 4 with two large double beds and a big bathroom. We booked a room with a partial view of the ocean on the 11th floor and even if the view was indeed partial, we could easily see the ocean. Next time I will pay extra for a room with an ocean facing balcony. We enjoyed our stay in the Loews after a week on a cruise in the caribbean and would have liked to extend our stay to take advantage of the facilities such as the spa, jacuzzi, sauna and yoga/fitness lessons. The hotel is right on Ocean Blvd. and a few blocks away from Lincoln Road for shopping and dining.
