"One of the Most Interesting Hotels We've Ever Stayed In!"
So this is one interesting hotel! It's built in what was an old parking structure/warehouse, and every room is unique and stylish. The rooms are HUGE! There's a kitchen, dining table and more, as well as sofa's, tv, bed, etc. The elevator is an experience - it too is huge and old school, with a pull down metal screen. The neighborhood is very close to the Gay Village - it is in the Latin Quarter. There are a ton of restaurants and clubs in walking distance. My only complaint is that the internet was not working 98% of the time. They said they were working on it, but I think they need boosters to reach all parts of the hotel. I'll definitely stay again - but maybe I won't count on the internet this time.
"Modern Loft Apartment"
Hotel is ultra spacious and modern. Room we stayed in was on the ground floor and had access through the main reception. It had everything advertised (e.g. full kitchen, bathroom, large living area). Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. Area is really good with bars and restaurants within walking distance. Would stay again for sure.
This hotel is just off rue st Dennis. it is in the student /university area with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Takes about 20 mins to walk to the old port area. The rooms and bathrooms are enormous. Beds are comfortable and air con efficient. The front desk staff are helpful and the breakfast supplied is more than adequate . I would definitely stay here again
"What an incredible Hotel"
What an incredible Hotel. We had a wedding to attend on Saturday and decided to book a room instead of taking any chances just in case we were tired or tipsy. Well we ended up in s suite that was incredibly big and clean. Nice reception desk so we would highly recommend to anyone. You are right in the heart of downtown with everything around you.
"Sadly this hotel has problems "
The hotel design is very interesting, our room very large and as per the photo with adequate furniture. Good sized bathroom and large shower enclosure with a strong shower. The staff are all very friendly. On arrival I tried to access the Internet wifi. It didn't work. All the staff were on theirs so the accusation was that I was at fault, or I had iPhone issues. After much discussion and phone calls it still didn't work. There was an ip issue. That wasted at least 30/40 mins plus of our time and research time. It worked when we came back that night. We offered in the end a laptop but we needed to leave. I think this wonderful designed hotel needs a new experienced manager. The staff need better training. One can see problems. Floor bath mat not replaced, face clothes not replaced. We especially asked for the air con to be left off after cleaning. It was left on. Breakfast staff oblivious of items missing. The breakfast itself was the most basic that we have come across. The young lady wandering in/out hadn't noticed that the eggs, croissant etc had all run out. She did keep walking up to the display and then away again. We had to ask twice for the boiled eggs to appear. They take a 250 dollar pre charge on arrival against various issues. The hotel advertisement claims "panoramic windows with stunning views / Each unit is equipped with kitchenettes. Our experience We didn't have a kitchenette ( didn't actually need one) . No stunning views of Montreal, actually unattractive views of Montreal The lighting design in the rooms is poor. No sensible bed reading lights. No proper lighting in the bathroom for a lady to do her makeup. The large bedrooms rooms are very attractive, well appointed but sadly no safe, no coffee machine, no kettle. The reception decor is lovely and the chandelier stunning. Just needs more attention to detail to correct such simple basic problems. Just in a Hyatt now and quite the opposite. Loft deserves success!!!!!
