Stayed here over Christmas and the apartments are delightfully spacious, no views from the rooms however the modern kitchen and bathroom is a saving grace. The entrance to the hotel is a nightmare for any drivers unfamiliar with the area. The staff were polite and friendly in with English and French. Will definitely stay here again.
"Poor customer service"
We booked this hotel on the whim just to get away for the night... we arrived on the 8th late and checked in..front desk was really helpful and polite.. they told me where to park my car, but when i arrived we pressed a button and waited about 10 minutes for the garage door to open.. and wow very tight garage to park in.. we loved the room but there was cob webs everywhere.. not very clean... its a great location.. but the worst thing about the hotel is that there was a loud party happening downstairs and we couldnt sleep.. All we heard was loud noise and vibrations.. this was around 12am.. it was really annoying, if I knew that there was going to be a party there i would of not made reservations at this hotel. They tried to offer us another room around 130 am.. but it was too late, my partner was sick. And we unpacked.. The party finished at 2am and It felt like we were a problem for them, like we were bothering them.. Not at all impressed with the service at the hotel.. not worth what we paid for...this a 3 star hotel max.. ps. If u are looking for a good night sleep, don't book this hotel..
"Nice hotel "
Stayed here one night in March, room was very large and clean. Staff was friendly and no issues with the check-in or check-out ! I would stay here again. We also had a party in one of the halls which was very nice. Great place for birthdays / weddings or engagement parties !
"Very interesting place. Definitely unique."
Stayed here overnight in March. Nice lobby and no problem checking in. Layout a little weird. Main floor is on the fourth floor but it is still street level. Due to being on a hill. They offer self parking in the building. 20$ a bit expensive considering it is not Valet. The hallways to get to the rooms are dark. The walls are actually painted dark grey. The lobby is bright then you get to the hallways and its super somber. Weird. And then they throw in this awesome looking chandeliers in the mix here and there. I'm not saying its bad just different. When I entered my room... actually I'll call it what it is, a loft. When I entered my loft I was shocked at the size of the place. It was huge. I've never stayed anywhere this big for the price I paid. It was awesome. Large fridge. stove and oven. Kitchen table, couch, bed, huge mirror. Huge chandeliers again. It was awesome. No carpeting in the loft at all. Maybe the only qualms I would have was that there is not much as far as ordering out at 11:00 PM in that area. The front desk could not recommend anywhere and instead told me to use some sort of delivery service. I tried using it but the app couldn't even recognize the Hotel's address so I just gave up. Would I stay here again' Probably. I'd probably prefer the area during summer. I find Montreal to be fairly gloomy during the winter time.
"the perfect staycation"
Sometimes we just need a lil break from life. We decided to do a little staycation here at the LoftHotel. The staff at the front desk was very welcoming and attentive to our needs. They accommodated it with a gorgeous loft. We were extremely happy with the quality/price. We even visited the venue which is beautiful, and are considering hosting our office christmas party there. Would recommend this place to anyone who is coming to visit Montreal!
