"Awful service, awful rooms avoid"
This place is dreadful. We booked a double room and were given a twin. Totally unacceptable. Why questioned they said we could pay an extra 400 dollars to upgrade to a room with a double room. Despite the website claiming that English wad spoken by the staff I saw no evidence of this. My wife is Chinese and when we asked if they could comp us a breakfast to make up for the twin room we were told no quite rudely by some idiot on reception called jasmine Tao. Awful customer service. Then to the room itself. Despite asking for a non smoking room the room we were given stank of cigarettes. The walls had a lot of stains on them and the bathroom door was broken. This hotel is one of the worst I have ever stayed in please avoid at all costs. It's also in a crappy area far from anything of value or usefulness. Move on people.
"Great view, less great bar"
I had a very nice room, quiet, welll-equipped and with a fantastic view. Breakfast is ok but not more, the bar is in the lounge with a staff that can't mix and every night the same loud pop-awards-video full blast on a large screen. Still - a nice hotel.
"James Bond Might Stay Here"
The Longemont Shanghai was my favorite of the four hotels at which I stayed during my trip. It was very clean and rather luxurious. Wonderful city view from my 36th floor room. Good breakfast buffet, very courteous, professional staff. Only negative was the very limited complimentary bottled water (two 330 ml bottles per day).
"Super modern hotel - great view of the city"
Shanghai was at the end of our 2-week tour of China. Rooms at the Longemont were large with very comfortable beds and well appointed bathroom. It provided a good night sleep before a long flight back to the US. The arrangement of furniture inside the room limited movement of guests, with a couple of spaces completely wasted in the corners. O2on2 offered some of the best Chinese and Western breakfast selections. Services in general was adequate, although the front desk staff could use friendlier communication skills with the guest. Overall, we enjoyed our 2-night stay at this beautiful hotel.
"Great stay for a foreigner on business"
Stayed here for 2 nights in August 2016. Gorgeous room with amazing view of Shanghai. Bathroom was incredible - top of the line fixtures and decorated beautifully. Staff was very friendly to this non-Chinese speaking foreigner. The breakfast buffet was huge and delicious. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a nice place in Shanghai.
